I wonder if this software is in need of an update. More often than not it won't show anything in the "Results" column. When it does show this information, it's very useful. I don't understand why it doesn't always work.

Thats not SEO. SEO is basically optimizing your content to be search engine friendly mostly with the objective to rank well for a certain keywords.
