Derek Hough should do the remake of this movie. Derek is the only person I can think of that would actually be as good or better than Kevin Bacon.Derek's the best dancer on the planet, a singer who just signed a record deal, and he can even do all the flips and gymnastics himself without a stunt double. Derek played Ren in the Footloose stage production in London's West End to rave reviews in 2007. He would be perfect. Zac can't do this movie.

Zac is a good dancer, but I don't think he even comes close to Kevin Bacon, no offense to him, lol. Kevin's movements are just so fluid, so natural.

If Zac gets the part, I really hope he does it justice, otherwise there will be no point in watching it.

i think Zac will surprise everyone. yes they may have to bring in a stunt double evry once in awhile but i think he can pull this off. the dancing is not that complicated and it would just take alot of practice. thats prolly why they haven't got a release date yet. its all rehearsals, rehearsals, rehearsals. i think its gonna work out fine and i cant wait to see it.
