My own question is when the heck did F-Zero have character designs? I mean this was one of the pack-in games for the original SNES and all it had was cars. I used to play it at friend's houses, but all I ever saw was cars. It wasn't even like Rock 'N Roll Racing, where portraits of the drivers were rendered and could be viewed outside of races. But even so, how did "Falcon Punch" arise from racing games which didn't feature any game play action out of their cars?
