errr no. bhp is brake horsepower, which is power calculated at the brakes. Which is what your car is really putting out to the weels. The car's wheels are removed and the dyno mechanism is bolted onto the hubs. Where as whp is wheel horsepower, which means the calculated hp is exactly at the wheels. In this case, the car is put on a dyno with rollers. bhp is almost the same as whp.

If its a stock B18C Non-R then it would be making 178hp at the crank....would be about 130hp at the wheels...in order to have 178hp(127kw) at the wheels on a non-R B18 you would have to be running Intake/Headers/Exhaust/Cams/Intake Manifold + one hell of a tune...very difficult number to reach without higher compression (aftermarket internals).
B16As put down 130-140 whp stock. Stock GSR's usually put down between 155-170 whp, and stock Spec Rs usually put down 160-175 whp. From the many I've seen. Obviously many conditions apply.
You must be talking about crank/axle dyno's....there is absolutely no way tbey put down that stock.
A stock GSR has 175hp to the fly...that is 5-15hp drivetrain loss according to your "experience". FWD's usually have more like 15% shear loss through the drivetrain and tyres...no chance that you are only going to loose 5hp.

well you are referring to JDM motors so that would be 185 with 118 lbs of torque and th b18C has about the same specs 185 hp with 130lbs of torque on the other hand the b18c "type r" has 210 hp with 135 or something lbs of torque but note that those are all "stock"

u stagekids got sum decent honda's. i worked with salvador for about a year he does some pretty good work. not a rwd but hey thats diversity for u. nice job especially runnin a stock motor

Itr=pwnage by either ls/vtec or b20/vtec... good torque for a stock motor and possibly the best daily driving car swap for an ek9 until the k20 was introduced.. still its a great motor and feels very strong.. I had one but now Ive moved on to b20/vtec and soon aftewards its gonna be k20a
