@TheMissi68 I am sure Steve & the rest of Journey have a good relationship still. It just reached a point where Steve & the rest of the band were drifting in very different directions. Raised On Radio turned out to be a very regrettable chapter for Journey, the reunion album Trial By Fire seemed rather pedestrian, and Steve Perry's songwriting abilities both solo & otherwise has just kind of tapered off. Perry was very courageous in knowing that it was time 2 hang it all up & call it a day
@RocStarr913 They have no relationship whatsoever,They are angry at him..They the band wanted to run Perry into the ground ,they said he would be distant, didn't that tell them he was in emotional trouble?also he needed hip surgery which was a pretty serious operation at that time, selfish is what they were plain and simple, they could have waited for him to have the surgery when he was ready .Itr was not their place to dictate and rush a serious surgery.
From part 1 of this I already saddened (just because of the fact they are no longer), watching this is heart wrenching. Glad we got them for the time that we did though :)
I still think "Raised On Radio" is a good album. "Be Good To Yourself", "Happy To Give" and "Why Can't This Night Go On Forever?" are my FAVs from that album.
No matter how resilient...everyone has a breaking point. Ten relentless years on the road, the loss of the two most important loves in his life.....There had to be time for the man to grieve and to heal. Why was that so hard to understand? Thankfully he was strong enough to survive and not self-destruct....
Steve Perry still has a love for his mother similar to the love Elvis Presley had for his mother. It really shows the kind of men Elvis was and Steve is to not be afraid of showing that emotion to others.

@Ferzeppelin, I think so too. Sadly, when it originally aired 10 years ago, I only got to see it once.
