I have a company that sell's solar concentrators like the ones in the video.
I'm interested in installing similar systems here in Portugal, in farms, Hospitals, etc...

Well done! Great effort. With enough collectors and heat storage you could run through the night. Best of luck getting it out there.

I've had the same idea, but what always seems to happen is
that gov't subsidies, the corporate mindset, the scrambling to
patent every turn of a knob or every piece of duct tape used to
make the system work, keeps such "technology" from ever
reaching average folks.
The real useful technology is locked up for decades because everything is
"proprietary" and awaits the big payoff with gov't contracts, etc.
Will this know-how ever be released to the public? I'd rather see
open source projects.
