When I was a kid I loved the Sonic Advance series, and was dissapointed by Sonic Heroes and all subsequent Sonic games even then, as a die-hard fan of Sonic.

I'm no longer a Sonic Fanboy (Sonic 2006 kicked the last of that out of me), but I still love to fire up the original Megadrive games and the Sonic Advance games.

I think Eggman used this machine to throw Sonic off, after the first phase used the wrecking ball. Sonic wouldn't expect a NEW machine to pop up at the end of the X-Zone.

It was cool how X-Zone revited the Zone 1 bosses of Sonic 1 & 2! After thus one, I was expecting the Angel Island Boss next, but I was kinda crushed that the Sonic 3 & Knuckles boss didn't appear; It's as if the developers didn't think that S3&K was amazing! =(

I like how they put this boss back, maybe to make young kids to think this was a new boss, but couldn't they make it harder? Maybe he could go at faster speeds, shoot a laser, or something. Same with the remake of Sonic 1's first boss. Make him throw the ball then shoot a laser or something. OR, maybe they were trying to give you a nostalgic feel ; )

I don't know where you got that from but Eggman is not the kid of Robotnik, Eggman IS Robotnik, you see while america called him Robotnik in japan he was always called Eggman, and if you don't believe me then check out the Sonic anime movie, in the american version he was called Robotnik but if you turn it to japanese you'll see that instead they call him Eggman.

No. That's now what i meant. Eggman IS robotnik. But since robotnik is his surname he share's it with his grandad. I was merely pointing out that in the adventure games 2 for example he is known as eggman while he still refer's to gerald as his grandad. So therefore the robotnik in sonic 1-3 and knuckles is the same as tall the 3-d one's Dr. eggmans. I was pointing out that Eggman IS Robotnik because he is related to Gerald nothing else mt friend :D

Apparently the terms metal Sonic and Metallix are interchangable. The Metallix name is commonly used in the UK media but Metal Sonic is more common in other countries. The Metallix is the iconic blue rotot sonic with black eyes in sonic CD, Sonic R and Sonic and knuckles.

Remember that in the last stage of this game the "past" bosses is butchered. They take four hits to die normally. So, you have a point of adding more bosses in.
