The great mosque is turning into a tourist site, nothing else. It has lost all its purity because it is surrounded by modern 50 story hotels. Saudi's make billions each year, and how much do they actually spend to maintain the mosque? A few million? All you see around the mosque is noise and construction, nothing else. He denied the charge, but was reportedly requested to convert to Wahabism, an interpretation of Islam favoured by the state. When he refused, the judge was reported to have told him: ''You abandon your rejectionist belief or I will kill you.'' On 3 September 1992 he was publicly beheaded in al-Qatif."

Be a muslim or something else or reject religions all together thats ur choice as a human and youll face the outcome of ur choice when u stand before God. There are some basic rules of respect, I wouldnt go and comment on a video of Jewish or Christian rituals just for the fun of it. "You have your religion/believes and we have our religion/belief" Its as simple as that.

It's absolutely naive to suggest that just because this happens in Saudi Arabia, then it must be Islamic. Don't you know that the vast majority of Muslims, like myself, reject Wahabism as a valid way of understanding Islam ? This rejection has gone back centuries.

That there are less crimes in a repressive system is no argument against freedom - the freedom of all people more important than a few crimes less. by the way, that has been an argument of the communist dictatorship too - "we have less crimes" - it's logical: if you are more repressive, you will have less crimes, but that's not worth to immolate freedom of people

@scardanelli1685 Where's your proof ? Do you not know that the Quran regard the Gospel of Jesus, the Torah of Moses and the Psalms of David as being divinely revealed ? In Islam, there is no provisions that a person carrying the holy book of another religion to be killed. Indeed, if that is true, than why have the Coptic Church survived in Egypt ? Or the Orthodox Church in the Balkans when Muslims ruled the area for over 400 years ?

The flesh is separate from the spirit. Nothing you can do in the flesh (fasting, service, abstaining, Hajj) will be of any benefit for the spirit and thus salvation can never come from the works of the flesh. The spirit must be reborn then and only then will works of the flesh matter.
