  • I love when you review stuff like this, it's immensely helpful for people newer to the hobby who want to know their options.

  • do you think the 1/100 can hold the weapons like the gm rifles or the beam spray gun for the mg gm type c? i hate the old hands!

  • how do they look on real grades?

  • In case anyone wanted to know about 1/60-1/72 scale replacement hands, I found that the g system shop website is now selling hand kits for $24.

  • This may be out of subject but have you considered the wing zero tv ver conversion kit for MG wing zero custom? I saw it on tatsu hobby.

  • can these hands hold the rifles of MG Wing Zero Custom?

  • where did you order these from?

  • will these work on the 1/144 wing kits?

  • very nice looking hands

  • The 1/100 scale hands remind me of the ones you get with the 2.0 RX-78-2 and Zaku 2. Have you noticed that too?

  • you can complain about the price their its about the same price as a sangokuden kit

  • their are another set of hands from EX got the info from Gundam guy and its basically PG hands for the MG and HG and GG Infinite currently is having pre-orders

  • @baraki808 They're made by Hobby Base. I've already ordered some and I'll review them when they arrive.

  • @vegeta8259 Where did you buy them from? Everywhere I've looked have all been sold out.

  • @vegeta8259 nice I have been wondering if their worth the buy and how much did they charge you ?

  • In next vid you think you can show how the 1/144 hands look on a wing scale kit?

  • @tripleb29rob that would be funny looking considering wing series mobile suits have the average height of 16m

  • hmm, those 1/144 hands are the same that came with kotobukiya's frame arm kits, although they have pegs instead of ball joints, although they look more stable than the ones i have

  • The 1/144 hands look a bit big as well. Especially the open hand. It's disappointing, because they are nice looking hands.

  • Thanks vegeta, nice informative review. As I'm a builder of older MG kits, this would solve the issue of the kit not being able to hold the weapons which plagues the older MGs. I will order some of these as well as the new hobby base ones to see which I prefer more.

  • The Shenlong made me laugh.

  • Rx-78-2 has big hands in the anime

  • One viewer has stubby fingers.

  • What are the round finger hands like?

I could use some Zaku-capable hands...

  • Actually i kinda like how it looks on Shenlong in a weird way xD

They'd look cool in a small MS kit customized into a melee-type unit! You know, like huge gauntlets or something.

  • for size you could have compared them with the original hands

  • wow, a hand with trigger discipline...AWESOME

  • idk if you have any mgs from seed, but do they fit nicely on them?

  • @lukeXmahn Seed MS are also the standard 18M tall size, so they should fit about the same as the RX-78-2.

Anyways, great review, told me everything i wanted to know about these hands. Is a damn shame about no beam saber hand, but oh well, i did notice a left trigger finger hand, so that's awesome. These will come in handy for kits like my HGUC GM Command Ground and Space types. They didn't even come with closed/open fist hands! Most of the time i don't even display my kits with weapons.

  • Cool, Ill look forward to the Hobby base hands review!

was gonna buy the 1/100 ones but they were out of stock

    Nice informant review!

  • One thing about the "Custom Hands" for anyone considering buying them: they are sized for the weapon grips on Kotobukiya weapons (Armored Core, MSG, etc.) - these weapon grips are very small and so using a typical Master Grade weapon with these hands is not a possibility unless you alter the hands to make them fit.

Also, be very careful of those ball joints. Some MG wrist polycaps are too small for them, and you'll break the polycap if you don't correct the issue.

  • interesting... dude how can i clean gold paint w/o screwing up the rest of the red paint in the sinanju?? tried to paint the golden lines but... i suck, any sugestions?

  • @chuchokain

That's the kind of thing you should PM him about, not post as a comment. =P

  • Nice, review i thought about these hands at one point but now i know i dont think ill like them.

  • I would buy them if they came with hands that can hold beam sabers, but sice they don't i'll just order the hobby base manipulators instead.

  • @PaceBreaker23 They can hold beam sabers in the trigger finger hand

  • @vegeta8259 but the trigger finger sticking out would drive my perfectionism insane :\ unless I find a way to mod them. I really do like the rounded fingers, so I might risk it.

  • @vegeta8259 Yupp, but it looks stupid :(

  • The closed fist one on MG Rx-78 make him look like just about to brawl, haha.

  • Hows your big project coming along?

  • yeah, ill stick to the standard hands^^ these do look really nice but you simply cant use them for all models. they will be either too big or too small or it wont be able to hold the weapon... but hey, its always nice to have alternatives!

  • didi you bought the Hobby Base hands? could you do a review on those please? thanks

  • @noddy183 I've ordered them and I'll review them when they arrive.

  • monkey paw shenlong lol

  • How much did you pay?

  • @animeguyXL2 I paid the yen price on the package. Translates to about $6-7
