  • so wack. so so wack. a poor man's ian curtis. a poor man's pretentious ian curtis.

  • @zyxwvutsREDD you speak the truth. it really boils down to this, if music is art, and art is expression, then why the fuck would you want to copy someones style? why don't you create your own sound? it gives out the message that your basically shit and all your fans really haven't got a clue. i love joy division, but its their sound, they created it, i just don't have any respect for pseudo artists/musicians who can't create anything unique and original...simples. fuck sake, this world is mad.

  • El bajo en esa canción es perfecto

  • wow !! theyre glasses are so cool ;)

  • los lentes que traen se parecen alos de willie wonka

    :)

  • Another masterpiece. Thank you Horrors for lovely moments spent with your music

  • i like their early stuff.......this is not very good is it ?.....i like his welding goggles though and his jacket is also good for welding as the sleeves are very short so they wont catch fire

  • Joy Division came back from the tomb as The Horrors

  • they getting better through the time! Skying is a awesome album. this song show us a whole new way, different, but not worse.

  • Is it place where was Sherlock Holmes? Baskerville? SE02E02

  • I love this song! In what album is it please? :)

  • @Pianindo technically this is song was released as a single but it belongs on the album Primary Colours, if you look at the album in iTunes you can buy this song as a single or off the album Primary Colours

  • I love the goggles!

  • Like all the greatest British bands they grow into their shoes, the are silently rising to epic status, shhhhhh, dont ruin the party.

  • What a disappointment. Why call yourself The Horrors when you don't song horror punk/metal? >.<

  • @Murderdoll199 Their music sounds mental enough for the name, to put it positively. Not so much anymore, but it did. Search their first album.

  • Who cares if you don't like it, they certainly don't. That's the beautiful thing about The Horrors. They make the music that THEY want to make. They produce it themselves, they have full control. They've evolved musically since Strange House & will continue to change with each album. It's like Joshua said in an interview.. "I don't want to make the same record twice. What's the fucking point? I might as well go work in an office and do the same thing every day if I wanted to stuff like that."

  • @3Iavenderlight Dont be a racist, i have nothing against black people. dont attack other races.

  • @3Iavenderlight youre so sad

  • @mrFunnyNugget you're sadder, faggot.

  • guess what? Don't like it piss off

  • I remember when this came out... I was saying to myself "Yea, can't wait to hear this stuff", but I was bitterly disappointed when I did hear it

  • very good!

  • I don't know why you guys think it would be a great surprise. I just got to know them and I went to listen to the first album after reading your comments and I see the sense in the change of style. Actually reminds me of most post-punk bands from the 80's, their first albums sound more punk and then they developed a softer sound. Echo and the Bunnymen for example, even Siouxsie and the Banshees.

  • Gig in two weeks. I can't wait. :D

  • I love the horros

  • apestan!!!!!!!!!!!

  • of course their second album is a bit disappointing but they're still pretty good and as soon as their music doesn't look like the shit I hear on the radio they can go on !

  • 53 people are not hipsters haaaa....

  • 51 people don't see a whole new way

  • @deathmetalzebra Let's keep my one night stand with your mother a secret. Fuckass

  • Both albums are good. its fucking annoying when people say that either of these albums are shit. There are loads of similarities between both albums as well, they didn't just wake up one day and change their style.

  • @crackfox100 They have 3 albums you clown. Strange house is the first a far cry from the other 2 both in style and sound.. Shows what you know

  • @crackfox100 I sort of agree... The shift from Strange House to Primary Colours was fairly dramatic though.

  • Strange House was their only good album. This is absolute shit.

  • Whatever they come up with, ill still love em

  • eran mejor antes eran garage de verdad :/ ahora parece otra banda mas de indie a la moda...

  • @reptarwithmustache6 LOL , el indie no es un género.

  • I like this album... but I fuckin LOVE the first album!

  • love their glasses.

  • this video is sooo good

  • I ain't feelig this song no guts or ballzz

  • He looks like alex turner, with goggles

  • @epsohapshiro Coming from a huge Horrors & Arctic Monkeys fan. Alex Turner looks nothing like Faris Badwan at all. IF you mean the hair, Faris has always had the hair, as Turner has not.

Both completely different bands with different styles.

  • @CityCasuals I'm talking about this particular video, at certain moments (0:25) he looks like alex turner with goggles

  • @epsohapshiro Ahh I understand now, you're right ;) x

  • Seems to me like The Horrors have been getting really high over the last year or two.

  • @DanielVladimir2 che cazzo di musica dovrebbe ascoltare uno oggigiorno?

  • 50 soperutanos están en contra de la evolución de una excelente banda...

  • Check out The Deep Transition they are so much like The Horrors

  • clearly about acid. trust me.

  • oh no, i don't believe this, i don't want to. that's so goddamn sad :((((

  • I used to live some where that looked like that. I day dream all the time even more now.

  • creepy ass goggles!

  • i hate this song

  • happy birthday Faris!

  • i'm sure you all know this but i was surprised to find out that there are 2 The Horrors bands. one from UK and one from USA, no wonder i was soo confused :/

  • dylan went from being folks glory boy to a badboy of rocknroll and beyond losing a few fans on the way but gaining a shit load more...change is natural and neccessary if you want to be a great artist and i reckon these guys are pretty exciting!

  • & the terror punk???

  • you know i really love their earlier stuff and, yes this is sooo different but honestly... what can you do else than LOVE it :)

  • @xSnapeFanx I Agree completely!!

  • pretty good but the singer's nose is too big...

  • Lame, boring, lifeless

    Where Sheena Parasite has gone?

She's dead. They killed her obviously... Bastards

  • welding goggles on the moors, listen out for wolves,

or maybe its a club, called accidental and inadvertant pot holeing!

sighn me up please, allways looking to fall down any old hole life presents to me.

    ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

wow that was cool again again.

  • very Echo and the Bunnymen.

  • los quiero ver en el vive latino 2012.. :D

  • unreal!

  • @BabyLove578 Thanks a lot! It's done! Album 2 and 3 : retro-modern masterpieces! Amazing band!

  • this is the best song I have listened to in the last 5 years or so..Horrors and A place to bury strangers are the best new bands of this last 5 years..

  • Damned, it's NOT on Primary colours!!! Which is worth the buy for Sea within a sea alone, though...

  • @donswin if you buy the album on iTunes you can get this song with it, it's one of the bonus tracks

  • This is kinda strange, like early Sisters Of Mercy meeting early XTC! Got to get me Primary colours, as I just bumped into the wonderful Skying! Great band! What a voice!

  • want those goggles...

  • I can't see Bowie but I can hear Bowie singing... Strange.

  • people that are just getting into this band will scratch their heads when they hear their first album.

  • @countingmoons i scratch my head when i listen to their new albums, what happened to the punk?

  • such a beautiful video

  • This is quite Echo and theBunnymen, just a little slower than Echo usually do.

  • HAVE A LISTEN TO US!

  • VVV That's what I'm sayin!

  • how did they go from strange house to this?????

  • @metalgrungefan123 you're totally right I agree random person who I don't know in any way shape or form!!!!!

  • @metalgrungefan123 exactly!!!

    >:(

  • @metalgrungefan123 I don't care. I love all three.

  • @SuperiFox same here but its still weird that one minuite they were garage punk, the next shoegaze :S

  • @metalgrungefan123 i honestly think that's how most experimentalish bands start out

  • @is00ez mr bungle? i see what youre saying

  • @metalgrungefan123 I assume .... LSD? or maybe marijuana?

  • @mahavishnuxc who knows 0_o magic mushrooms?

  • @metalgrungefan123 haha probably, but whatever theyre on.. i hope they keep it up!

  • @mahavishnuxc lol yea

  • @metalgrungefan123 ...evolution

  • @Koshiya1 indeed

  • @metalgrungefan123 because they have the imagination and desire to keep doing new things and i give them big respect for that because they could have just kept on going with there strange house music but they almost completely changed and it still sounds good

  • @metalgrungefan123 That's the point, "whole new way" :) Listen to Skying, their latest album, it's wonderful.

  • @metalgrungefan123 if you look into their influences and interests, you might find that this change, however drastic, makes perfect sense.

  • tunnnnnnne

  • tsss que buena rola....

  • is this on a b-side? i have primary colours album but it isnt on it x

  • I love the Horrors. The Cure of the 21st century.

  • 1000th like, yeeaahh!

  • google search "Echo Raptors sound cloud"

  • Ahh, the bass line is a fucking dream! These guys are brilliant.

  • inspiral carpets........ new order......MADCHESTA !!!

  • Joe Spurgeon is clearly the most attractive member of the Horrors. But idk man, there’s just something about Joshua and Faris. What’s a girl to do…

  • Highly Euro-faggish pop.

  • @feesterboy1 no way! The are captive, their style of music has got a root. What's the kind of music that stimulates your custard?

  • ... hoo, Boring ! move ! do something !

  • They have definitely taken a whole new way, yeah...

  • this band is underrated

  • his voice reminds me of Dave Gahan (Depeche Mode)......!!! i love it :)

  • sucks

  • as someone who only knows the horrors as "visionary" posterboys for NME front covers, i must say the music is actually not bad, i just don't like how dressing like a cross between a bohemian gallagher twin and a goth makes them some kind of genuis band, and how you get told to like them by the same five or six elitist reviews at NME who actually attack their own readership and openly mock their letters, probably one for the NME channel rather than here

  • @ruday1101 or maybe some people think the music is actually amazing, your choice. I was led here by some other band, and I fell in love at first sight (listen?). Your opinion isn't always everyone else's.

  • @Slyanimationz i totally support what you say, attacking somebody based on there preferences is just cultural prejudice, i was just voicing my opinion, i don't think any less of anyone who likes this band; was just typing to myself in essence. personally i find an over reliance on the visual can detract from the music and it's integrity; just look at Metalica's nu-metal makeover. i think the main point here is that the New Musical Express is an awful publication

  • @ruday1101 It's actually far from that. If you listen to their earliest stuff and their first album they were a goth style band.

But their music evolved but felt no need to change image to drastically, If anything it's better to stick to something and not be seen and trend followers and let the music speak for its self, which I think it truly does. Primary Colours and Skying are amazing.

  • so underrated.

  • Does anyone know where they filmed this?

  • nice

  • even visually this is the point between primary colours and skying. you can watch the official video of still life at pitchfork . you'll see what i mean

  • New solo-artist,Ransley.Check out all uploads on this channel.

  • Skying is streaming on their website now

  • 38 people don't see a new way. (and are probably deaf)

  • downhill (N) :(

  • "hey wouldn't it be cool if we wore tight black clothes and something kind of industrial like welding glasses?"

"yeah, what an original idea! nobody's ever done that before!"

  • Can't wait to see them at Leeds!

  • @panca00 Oh right, thank you!

  • kicking beat and melody, love this song. skying soon!
