Does anybody know why gecko os wont work for me? Every time I click on it from the homebrew channel it loads up for 1 or 2 seconds, (just the background) then it goes back to the wii menu. I am using gecko 1.9.3.1 and my wii is 4.3u.This gecko problem is the only thing holding me back from using textures and custom characters, its really annoying me. It is really hard to find information that is not outdated so if anybody could help I would REALLY appreciate it.

Meh, this is OK... Could be better. What you can do to improve it is every few minutes, have a giant airship show up in the background and drop Vile onto the highway. Then have a quick dialogue where Vile addresses each player by character name (whoever is out on the field) and challenges them to a fight to the finish and then the highway catches on fire and the players have to defeat Vile to put out the flames in order for the stage to go back to normal.

Looks pretty good! Too bad you can't insert custom characters (i.e., totally new models) in Brawl. It wouldn't work for online play, obviously, but just in single player would be great.

mmmm, not bad for to be a great stage from Megaman X series, but talking officially, the highway stage could be improved with the large stretch of the bridge where a armored beecopter appears to ambush the brawl fight, but when it is stricked, explode falling down and crashing againts the large strech of the highway's bridge, breaking it and falling to the floor... and also, the cars where pass in the highway decorates de stage very well

OOOh yes, the Dr willy's stage is excelent, great job men! imagine such stage like Dr Willy's stage but improved with some stage from this place, go into the classic action games Megaman series. Where appears Dr Willy in live, ambushing with his powered machines: Dragon, tank, Yellow devil, some robots masters, etc.........

I don't want to sound too negative but the "MegaMan X" texture doesn't really look so great.

On the UP side, I have that Zero and it is great. There is / are really great MegaMan X textures out there. One even on Samus that I have seen. Those with this stage does Brawl some serious justice!

That is fucking crazy awesome looking, I have no idea it was possible to change/add music of your choosing and change the custom level's background, and have it look so good. I've always been sketchy of character texture edits since they frequently just look like nothing more than a weird-color of the character their mesh is of, but that stage is picture-perfect, and with that music, really awesome. I gotta figure out how to implement this stuff myself, what with the homebrew stuff and all.

Ok, this is the ONLY time I am going to post this so listen up to everyone who has tried to contact me about this problem!

The hax directory is as follows:

(SDCARD)\private\wii\app\RSBE\­pf\Stage\Melee

Now in the Melee folder, the hax should be named "STGEDIT_0.pac" without the quotation marks. It should work fine. Triple Ultra Mega check that shit and be over 9,000% sure that this is correct. It should work now.

Zero and Sigma both had different Sabers, Dr. Cain made Zero the Z-Saber and gave it to him. However, Keiji Inafune said Zero was going to have his Z-Sabre in X1 but was cut out because of program constraints.

I would also be cool if someone could redesign the game so that it encorportates the Z axis! But that would only work well for certain areas, I guess it would mess up the way the camera shows the players the game. Still, it would be cool if something at all could be achieved with the Z axis.

It would be cool if some mad genius of a mother-hacker could actually hack this game to its core, and make actual charecters and stages that look like they were proffesionally made by nintndo. In that case, an extension to the Sub-space Emissary story line and game-play would be very nice! It would also be cool to create moving stages like Brinstar's Deabths and Frigate Orpheon, you know, the ones that change shape and/or move the screen!

Haha, thanks. Yes, you can change it. But you need a different program. It's called cupash. But it's tedious to use. I had to search up many things just to get it right. Search up cupash by el refugio on google and you'll find it :)
