  • playing this song while playing Batman: Arkham Asylum on the PC :D

    aaaawwwwwww yeeeaaaaaaaaa nostalgia

  • Thank you very much for posting this, this was my favorite!!!

  • SNES version is clearly better, audio capabilities on the SNES were more advanced and powerful as well. Liking this version more is like saying you prefer youtube quality sound over cd quality.

  • @Ganonzor

Honestly, I enjoy some of the music from the Genesis version more, like the Batcave level. The Genesis edition makes that level sound more techno-like, whereas the SNES version has tympani which reminds me of an orchestra. The SNES version is good, but I prefer the SEGA edition on some of the levels, including Arkam Asylum.

  • @Jonathan37373737 I still have the PC version of this, and it has midi and cd music, its rather good Id say. I was more a nintendo kid back in the day, everytime Id see one of my friends playing a Sega I would get chills just because of the horrid soundcard most of the sega consoles had back in the day. But MJ smoothcriminal and sonic songs where good anyhow :)

  • @Ganonzor

Also, the quality of all the Megadrive recordings I've heard so far have poor quality; you can hear it in the audio. No offense to mongrelvids; I'm thankful that he uploaded the music. But I'm saying this to make a point: The music only sounds like this on YouTube. Everyone who's played the game on SEGA knows that you won't hear the flaws that are heard in this track on YouTube.

  • @Jonathan37373737 Say what you like but I prefer the genesis version. Not a SNES hater but I just like how most music sounds on Genesis better.

  • @Foxdude89

Exactly. The Genesis version is better, in my opinion. *gives you a high five* I apologize if my previous messages were unclear.

  • @Ganonzor

lol superior. Yeah right. It's TECHNICALLY more powerful, but it was set up for orchestra sounds when it should've been cranking out techno most of the time. The Genesis was built mostly for techno and electronica. There's actually been some Genesis games ported to the SNES that got the music butchered and had to be redone, one such example is Earthworm Jim. Also, why are we arguing over one of the worst games ever made anyway, who cares which was better, they all still sucked.

  • was this in the movie?

  • @seiya209 no

  • @CopySigma really great song, do you like it brother?

  • @seiya209 yes,and I like all the songs from mega drive/sega genesis version, they are the best,my fav one is Warehouse/Claw island

  • @CopySigma

Are you trying to say that this version sounds better than the Super Nintendo version? While this version does sound good, it feels like a downgraded version of the Super Nintendo song.

  • @EvilLilElmo I have sure that mega drive version is better, even being a downgraded version, sometimes a prototype is better than the full version

  • @CopySigma Must say I've always preferred Mega Drive sound to SNES sound, but then I always had Sega consoles, never a Nintendo.

  • @CopySigma

Could you elaborate more as to why you believe it's better?

  • @EvilLilElmo I simply think it's better,I like this one more, like the Bram Stoker Dracula ost From megadrive

  • How'd you get the music?

  • This music was the shit.

  • The music is not that Good its Very bad

  • dont dis this i grew up with it
