first of all melky's catch was better than cahaez, however situational endy's came at a better time but it would have been better if the mets could have actualy won. second, try running full speed looking up and the second you look down try stopping with ure hand in the air youll fall into the stands jeter caught it took 1 step looked down and flew into the stands

Hardly the greatest catch in postseason history. Try Edmonds' catch in 2004 Game 7 NLCS. While not the greatest, it was awesome and actually meant something since th Cards won the series.

Sadly, we had already thrown our one and only baseball over the fence already... so no, we didn't throw back in.

However, a major league ballpark is a lot smaller than you'd think in real life. I was making pretty routine tosses from the warning track to second base and I never even played in high school.

Oh please. First off, "the catch", if there can only be one, is a catch in football. I believe it was a pass from Montana to Dwight Clark. Second, this catch is a million times better than Jeter's stupid leap into the stands, and there are about 100 plays a season that are also better.

Actually, considering the situation, Game 7 of the NLCS. It was the greatest catch I've ever seen. I can remember getting so excited when the ball left his bat. Rolen had been struggling and everyone was questioning his shoulder and power. Then Chavez takes his HR away. I don't think I've felt more dejected in my entire life. At that point, I thought we were done.

And team to root for? Do you REALLY want a piece of the Cards again come playoff time? If you haven't noticed, we're only 3 games out of 1st. We're 8-2 in our last 10, pitching great. Pujols has homered in his last 5 games. Mulder will be back in a couple weeks,and he's made 2 quality rehab starts so far. Our bullpen has been virtually untouchable.

Bottom line, the Mets don't want round 2.
