  • I have to disagree about the people "out east" having the weirdest accents. In my experience the most stereotypical "Canadian" accents are from the Saskatchewan area. I'm from Newfoundland and Labrador and most Newfies definitely have a strong accent, but the only people I've ever heard say "eh" are from Saskatchewan. I don't think that Newfies are even part of the stereotypical Canadian accent though, its just a place of its own :P I'm from Labrador though, so I have more of a "Mainland" accent

  • No one calls it laboratory >_>

  • @coolstream1 Most people just call it a Lab. When ever I hear people say the whole thing I hear it said like that.

  • You're Canadian?!? I never would've known if you didn't say otherwise. You totally sound like you are mid-west American to me

  • @proteuseffects That's funny because the last time I was in Europe two guys from California guessed I was from Vancouver just from my accent and my shoes.

  • hahaha sounds like great fun :p

  • @antievil007 It's funny trying to pick out where your accent takes over with those words.

  • @amberlapointe1987 your right, i dont even think i have an accent :p buuuuttt then i dont think anyone does :p

  • Okay I thought I was a Abnormal Canadian. But hearing this comforts me quite a bit!

  • @ChaosAngel017 Really the only abnormal Canadians are Newfies. JK I love Newfies.

  • I dont have an accent like in the east, like faaaaaaaaarr east. lol Asian Canada :D

  • @AlexDeese Oh Alex, I didn't mean THAT far east.

  • YEEESSSSSS Canadians say "Ant" too!!!!

  • @MitchellWadeHarris Yes but we say Mum instead of Mom. I had a group of girls from New Zealand point this out to me and said it was cute when I was little. I replied with "You talk funny." true story.

  • Did you move to California like you said you would?

  • I think in south area of this country, soda is called pop

  • Don't let this bother you. Even in different parts of the united states, people have different names for things. Radiator is pronounced two different ways.

  • @mikemaninblack How can you pronounce radiator differently? And I figure either soda or pop is correct since originally it was called Soda Pop. I didn't move to California. I'm giving Vancouver a year to smarten it's act up or I'm jumping ship.

  • Lol I think you sound pretty normal, actually. The questions were interesting, though. You gave a few answers I haven't heard before. No judgments here!

  • @NixNyxNye The grandparent one is fairly unique for my family. I don't know anyone else with a Grumper. lol
