This is how painful he thinks it is doing all the things he does for her so he is asking her to do it, and keep a smile on her face the whole time like he does. @TheDemonRose1 i think he means that he wants the girl to go through some of the pain you would if you were to be in love with someone. it seems like he sayin that the girl doesnt love him, so he wants her to know how it burns and feels to him that she doesnt return the same feeling. @KireenShanae you see, i don't even think your boyfriend was the jerk in this case. everyone has the right not to be satisfied with the person they are with, not cuz they aren't good enough but cuz maybe they don't fit. but your best friend could've been more considerate with your feelings since it's a relationship that's supposed to last longer and survive through everything. i would feel worse to lose my friend, i guess. there are too many men in the world, but not so many people to lean on.
