What a fine bird. A true classic. They surely kicked butt in Korea. When I was a kid back in the 50's I remember seeing them fly regularly as the Air National Guard flew them close to where I lived. Thanks for posting.
i have heard one of these start up too at the UK Air Tatoo, the starter motor really does make the ground rumble just to hear a sudden raw you cant beat the first jet engines and the 50s jets
Great video TJ, I can see myself in the shot lol, im the guy in the white Tshirt standing right to the left of the nose behind the ropes. What kind of Camera are you using? Fantastic quality!
I was busy with other duties so I asked Don Baer, the museums Veterans History Project manager to film for me. He used the museums Canon Vixia HF200 digital camera. We are just learning how to use these cameras and video quality will improve with experience. Thanks fo visiting Planes of Fame Air Museum.

Makes me feel like a kid again. Wish a genie would make me rich and let me own one to fly.

Dear All,
I have some questions about psychology:
(1) Why do we love flying?
(2) Why do we like to click the bottoms on an aeroplane's cockpit?
(3) Why do we enjoy the feeling of powering up an aeroplane?
(4) Why do we like to hear the high-pitch-noise of an aeroplane's engine, especially when powering up?
THANK YOU IN ADAVNCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)
