  • Back the Manual Gearbox back !!!

  • @Sekhurity: I attended this race from 1977-1985. From 1976-1983 it was F1. Then they changed to CART/Indy Cars from 1984-present. There was never "electric wires all around". This track was/is safer than Monaco. The reason they changed from F1 to CART/Indy Cars was due to financial reasons. F1 was too expensive to bring to Long Beach because back then F1 made the promoter/host city pay all traveling expenses for the teams. CART/Indy Cars were based in the USA, so expenses were far less.

  • nice video .

  • omg the slide at 1:34!!!!!!!

  • This guy don't drive a car but a soap.

  • The best video onboard F1 in history.

  • Classicos da F 1.

  • pure skill

  • When will the US GP return to the awesome Long Beach street track?

  • @kzbxvz Probably it will never return in this incredible track, thanks to ecclestone..like imola, a1 ring and many others

  • I love how the crest by the pit exit gets the car loose and forces over-steer 1:55

  • Speechless really...

  • Some unbelievable car control, 2:14 for example.

  • it just makes fun to see the guys working with the car and try not to lost control of the monsters :D wonderful, beautiful, F1 !!!

  • @55DJL watch the ATS going sideways 1:25

  • tremendous driving at 1:55!

  • What is this clip from?

  • that track reminds me of the Seattle Circuit from the Gran Turismo series

  • @6V92TA i was thinking about the same!

    awesome game it was!

  • @Pikansokamikaze OH MAN!! The memories of staying up late nights tryin to beat the many race series!

  • Fantastic driver. One of my favorites. Those onboards from Patrick Depailler reminds me of Gilles Villeneuve.

  • Great circuit.. why it's out of f1? noobie Bernie Eclestone!

  • @Bresoto Indy still does it right?I know it's changed since though.

  • @FlyingBoxHead yes... indy does... i think lol

  • @Bresoto Electric wires all around. Tracks barriers wouldn't help at all if the cars would've crashed. Watch "Grand Prix: The Killer Years" Documentary and you'll understand it..

  • Watching F1 from this era makes me so happy. Such awesome amounts of fearless driving, especially knowing that a single mistake would be fatal. The 70's were amazing for F1, a lot of experimental moves especially from Tyrrell. Depailler had the hands and the mind in the right place at the right time. Great driver!

  • fucking awsome sound!!

  • Now this is real F1 .

  • what a start!!

  • It's so awesome getting to watch these old clips. Thanks for the upload :)

  • Wow, amazing circuit

  • Great video
