Well, the camera is rather slow. The N73 was unusable. This is usable. Not more, not less.

@Joni0001984 N73 was unusable? As i IT and software developer...i can tell you one thing...LOL....N73 is how much years old? Wasnt that the most powerful and most expencive phone together with N80 in that time? It was...second thing, C5 and N73 use different Symbian versions, different CPUs, different memory....google little or do whatever, educate yourself and dont post stupid things.

The N73 was the C5 of its time, but I still don't see a huge difference other than the C5 is usable, and the N73 was not. If I received a message it took it 15 seconds to open it. If I wanted to take a picture, the damn thing crashed, and when it worked it had to warm up for a minute before I could take the picture. I still had to wait quite a while for the camera to wake up on the C5 and I wished Nokia would have come further in so many years.

@Joni0001984 Then you had some big problems with that phone...i had 2 N73 and they were not even close that slow, i even had 4Gb cards in it....and Nokia said that only 2Gb card will work...with software update 4Gb worked like charm. Only slow moments were when i used its idiotic gallery where i had 2.000 or more images and videos...but in normal use...there was no slowdowns... Thrust me i have C5 and Wildfire with Android....and C5 is not much slower than it.

Battery cover of this nokia c5 handset is metal cover and some metal is used around the handset, so when you talk on phone for 2 to 3 min,it gets hot quikly, in asia region due to high temprature its metal body gets hot quikly , this same problem was with nokia 6300 .

metal cover back side of handset touching ur palm and fingure gets sweat quikly after 2 to 3 min of talk on phone.

i using this from last one month , i am facing this problem , overall nokia c5 is good in feature and prise

i have owned pretty much every single top model since color/camera appeared.

7650, 6600, n91, didnt like the ultra bulky n95 so went with my music preference 5700. then nokia just got lazy and started making all phones have 1 design,so i tried SE and got the w960,went great at first,but me nor my 2 friends with k850,will ever go with SE ever again,they just spontaneously fail.

iphones are over ultra over priced,so an ipod touch is a lot more value for money,it has the same hardware just that it doenst allow for calls and pictures (and i really dont believe these features cost as 2 separate ipod touch 3rd gen).

i miss the conventionality and quickness of a joystick or a d-pad.and nokia havent changed much in a looong time.

im truly considering purchasing this phone,as im still using the w960,even though its crap,there still isnt anything of my liking at its true price

i believe that for anyone who thinks nokia are still the best phones + goes a long way with symbian OS or just likes its intuitiveness should get this phone.its light,small and thankfully uses damn buttons ONLY!

and for anyone looking for true performance for music,video,internet,and most importantly for me now GAMES,could get an ipod touch 3rd generation.all in all it will cost less (depending on where you buy) and you will have 2 epic devices.they are both super thing,so shouldnt bother much

ya the N900 is really cool, but at the end of the day the resistive screen and battery life make it a major pain.

After having a n900 for some time. it just makes you feel like you are using a desktop OS on a 3.5 inch screen. and to me thats not a good thing.

in conclusion i felt the resistive screen is unacceptable in 2010 and the screen is to small. that phone is for developers even the N810 was more enjoyable to me.

thats my honest opinion. and i would not suggest it to any one.

Ya my gripes ware with the hardware.

I absolutely love Maemo as a Operating system. and like i said its only my opinion on the hardware. the software is immaculate. and after going maemo its hard to digress to lesser platforms. thats why i say i want a dumb phone while i wait for the next meego device that has capacitive screen. :)
