  • Nice one, finally a simple video that answered all my questions and with clear instructions thank you.

  • Thank you so much for making this vid. Distilled water will work for it? or should i eventually get a bottle of activator solution ?

  • I can't seem to get my new humidor to stay at 70% humidity as soon as i add in my cigars the humidity level drops to 60%, how do i fix this?

  • @codjunkie3 There are so many variables to take into account, how good is the seal, how many times have you opened it, how hot/cold/dry is your area, etc.

  • Good video. Informative and well spoken. Thanks.

  • @drunkenhazernut negative, never ever wipe the inside of a humidor down. You will increase your chances of the wood warping about 1000%. Better to let the wood naturally get acclimated to higher humidity levels.

  • @cheaphumidors and how is there going to be a higher humidity level if you're adding it to the wood?

  • @Lvduggo69 make sure you DO NOT use the gel again. Gels for humidors is really crappy and would give you a higher chance of getting molded cigars. make sure you wipe the inside of the humidor with distilled water-damped cloth every 2 weeks and it should be fine. Anyway, throw those molded cigars away. They're dead. Let's have a moment of respect for those.

  • Make sure it is mold, and not bloom first of all.

  • Great info bro !!! I have a large humi and I put some gell cups in it and I got white mold on some cigars. Do u know what I can do so I don't get more mold.

  • @Lvduggo69 were they white spots?
