Very good review, except for the "e cig is more expensive" part. I have spent about 200 bucks for 2 complete joye 510's, a pcc, 40 mL of different e juice, 5 cartos, 8 carts, an extra atomizer and some fluval and some usp glycerin. This should keep me smoking for at least 3-5 months. i could maybe buy 2 months worth of Cigarettes for the same price. Health wise, my teeth arent stained, my family doesnt complain about the smell, i can breathe a hell of a lot better...you get the picture.VapeorDie
i started on the JOYE 510 moved on to the DSE901 and I find it's much better. ur 901 passthrough might not be a DSE901, because mine puts out as much vapor as ur 510, just wish it had the battery. The 901 gives out much better flavor, and it doesn't need to be cleaned nearly as much as the 510, but it's still an alright product, think it comes down to personal choice.
i ordered one a couple days ago and the first one i got didnt even work...aparently they dont test them before sending them...i got another one did great at first used it all day...next day seems i have problem with the switch aswell idk man i like it but seems to be a pain...
no problems with the two I have. Swithces work fine. Both mine purchased in the past month(I lost my first one, but worked fine when I had it, 2nd one also fine). I like this idea, but now with higher mAh devices coming out it wll get less use. My new device will have 3000mAh :) that should last a few days :) Should be getting it in a few days!

Hey man I think you are a liar and trying to push a shoddy product, this thing requires a battery and I want to avoid the cost of batteries by using mains based power, USB or whatever.
No way would you walk around with a long cable from you mouth.
This pass through is a con, you still have to buy batteries so you have a large cost with it.
What people want is to avoid the cost of batteries.
Usb port havent enough power (current) to supply the vaporiser directly... As long as we do not want to broke the motherboard its a good idea to put a batteri.. But maybe a big capacitor could do the job too ..
Hey all4one, I was just looking at passthough vids to determine what kind of battery it has in it(AA, AAA, or special). Just a Side note, You said You spend a lot on Ecig stuff, well your not alone. I don't know where your from but I find Prices are starting to even out for me. They just past another Tax in Wisconsin and a pack of analogs cost $7.50! I used to smoke a pack a day. Just though I'd put that out there so you can chuckle at all the analog smokers out there going broke. KEEP VAPIN.
of course, some rechargeable batteries like eneloop are 2500mah (for AA, anyway) ... so... I'd rather get a unit that takes normal AA or AAA batteries, as i usually carry some with me anyway.
I have the same problem with mine that i got for my titan, and it is a pain in the ass. has anyone figured out this problem? I smoke to relax not trying to keep hitting a switch over and over again to get a puff. serious pain in the ass. it worked good for a about two hours and I loved it, after that it became a real PAIN IN THE ASS!
i also have this item but mine is white. it has the exact same problem with the cheap switch. ( put the good switch on the disposable manual batteries ? ) for me this was a -1 and it also looses -1 for the cheap flimsy wire i anticipate will break and i will repair ( which is already coming loose at battery box ) the battery is 360 mah ( milli-amp ) which is 2x the normal 180 mah batteries it takes.. so twice the juice. for $20 its not bad none the less. overall i rate it an 8
I'm really looking forward to getting my passthrough in the mail (hopefully today!) - the 510 is the best PV I've used and so to be able to vape on it constantly without having to switch out batteries will be very nice! I have a 901 and a 401 and haven't touched either of them since I got my 510!
Also have to totally agree with you on Jason at Electronicstix - he's a really great guy and he answered my email just as quick. He's gonna need a vacation, soon, at this rate lol
I also have not had any problems with my switch but mine was purchased this month.
