Right now I can do 32 pull ups. I really want to get to 40, and if I could somehow get to 50, that would just be ridiculous. You could impress so many people with 50 pull ups.

When you were 12-16 you didn't weigh around ~190+ lbs like this guy does. The more you weigh, the harder it is to do pull-ups, but they're a good indicator of overall proportional conditioning imo. e.g. I wouldn't want to be able to bench 300+ pounds but barely be able to squeeze out 5 pull-ups.
Anyway, props to you on good conditioning and good form on your pull-ups.
i used to close grip 60 at a time..pull ups that is and im not huge so people most of the time are like yeah right bs....but after i used to that...couldn't even lift a glass of water for the day lol xD

About 5 of those were definitely not dead-hang -- but as someone who can only do 15 dead-hangs, props to you. I usually do mine more slowly too, in order to avoid any help from momentum, but that does make them more difficult. Thumbs up.

@Paynekillah It's probably because you're quite heavy for your joints. Maybe try some other way to strengthen the supporting muscles, tissues and bone first? Like lat pulldown or something.
@Paynekillah dude, if it hurts, it's because something is wrong. Dont push to hard. One advice: Instead of you lifting your weight alone, put a chair under you just before you start doing push ups and put 1 (or 2) feet in the back of the chair (or whatever thing you want to use). That will relieve some of the weight. Relieve the weight so you can to 10, 12 push ups. Do this 3 times resting 2-3 minutes between sets every 2-3 days. If you follow this you will be doing lots of push ups in no time.
I'm 5'7 weigh 190lbs and can do 12 good form deadhang pull-ups. I think in a few years I might do 20 but never ever 30 with that much ease. This guy obviously a strong mfer!
Now these are real pullups, with going all the way down. And not like some other cheating shit with kicking and using a lot of body motion you see on youtube. Great job man, u're scary good.
