no..the entire army of king richard was wiped out by saladin..but they did manage to take huge parts of the "ow so holy land" just because 1 men was born here..there were something like 5 crusades..the first one was in 1095..the second in 1145 the third in 1187..were much kings joined it like king richard..the fourth in 1203 to constantinopel..and the fifth in 1218..while in 1261 jerusalem was lost and all the thousands of men that died these years..had been used by the pope..for his might
