The turant on the other hand is over powered. The gun losses its damage over distance. If any gun needs to be nerfed, its the Rossmore Shotgun. People just run and shoot point blank. This is not Killzone or COD or Halo, and it surely isn't Gears (where shotguns rule the match.)

I get where you are coming from with this, but I, personally, don't see it. I tried using the atomizer the other day from a dead guy, got about one kill. It took me about...3 seconds to kill the guy. However, I kept getting shot from all the other weapons. I think the fact that it has the lowest range out of all the weapons balances it out fairly well. @Psychocide Well the story is on terms with Halo but still not as developed mostly because Halo has had more games to add to the story. But the gameplay of this new game is like Resistance 1 which was a classic.

I like it because I don't die to only three shots, and it makes me feel like I actually earned my kills when I kill someone, just from the amount of bullets that have to be used. I think they should put the Assault Sheild as an abilty and Attameisser (Lighting Gun) as a high level killstreak.Like 15 kills and then you get the Attameisser for 30 seconds or so........
@jeepguy934 because if you think about it there are certain guns in cod that are very over powered that can be compared to the atomizer in resistance. And you already know that everyone will use the atomizer and be a little noob to camp your spawn.... its too late for insomniac to make any changes in that and that is the reson why i compared it to cod.
I unlocked the atomizer and only used it once or twice. It's over-powered and just not fun to use (besides the secondary fire which pulls people into the gravity well). I wish they just didn't include it in multiplayer. Also, I think the shotgun should be toned down in power a bit and the leaper corpse ability should be toned down in power. Other than that, I don't see any major problems (though I don't really like the assault shield).
Yep, Beta was fun but I told Insomiac how I was dissappointed how much they changed the game from R1. R2 was slower and had alot of building you can get on top on and in R3 they have to add all these crap. I know they want to keep up with other FPS games but come on.
Developers are so thick sometimes, how did they not notice the obvious balance issues? All they needed to do was add like two seconds onto the time that it drains you're health.

atomizer might be pretty powerful but remember its extremely close range it has and it still doesn't kill that fast it takes some time.

@xJSNIPES13x All of the killstreaks are human controlled and are not overpowered. All of the killstreaks have weaknesses that can be easily exploited.

yes thats true but how are companies gonna make money off off little kids that aren´t even supposed to play the game and suck at it, they will tell all their friends to not buy it and companies rae gonna loose money because if you don't have some good input like a killstreak in a game they are going to dump it in the closeset corner after they got kill 4 times.

@xJSNIPES13x mostly killstreaks are guns. that dosen't really bother me. They are going to have a old school resistance game mode where you don't get your perks and killstreaks. its just you, your gun, and your skillz.

@xJSNIPES13x For some reason some of the best shooters/actions exclusives on PS3 are becoming more like COD. Socom, Killzone, Resistance..heck even Uncharted but that game is known only for its awesome story so i don't mind.

@thirstyforgame I'm well aware of that, but I will almost guarantee that there will be some changes when you install the full game on your system. Plus DLC and patches will almost inevitably come. I say go into "wait and see" mode.

thats the thing about resistance there are soo many ways to get through overpowered weapons that if your enemy dont figure them out then you might as well be god of resistance
