  • is it drive-able as it is there? it would be awesome to tear around a parking lot with no body panels or doors hahaha

  • @Protains drove it the other day like this people were looking at me like I stole this car and chopped it for parts, it didnt help I was driving fast. Pretty fun

  • 1:32 happiness moment for the driver, and every person watching this video :)

  • Wow sounds very nice! Is it almost done?

  • @TheAZJacob No I wish it was too many little details im still working on it. Still kinda looks the same.......

  • what headers?

  • @TheTyler0953 none stock exhaust manifold - just flowmaster super 44 mufflers

  • @uno214 ooohhhh thanks :)

  • I applaud you for resurrecting this baby!! :D

  • ricecarkiller can shove his fastback up his cunt hole for all i care!, nice job on the hardtop man! i wish i can restore mine this way to! im loving your engine! looks and sounds pretty good! please let us know when you finish the job! i'd love to take a look at it!

  • Nice Engine!

  • She's beautiful. Great find boss wish you the best

  • OMG she a beasst listen to the wine of the gear drive UHHHHGG

  • lol the interior is not even finished and theres already a hurst shifter

  • @pedropower09 had to make some cuts in the transmission tunnel to make the shifter fit so had the mechanic go ahead and install it so I wouldnt have to tear up the carpet later. Gotta think ahead man.

  • Very nice i know how much work the smallest project takes. I'm doing a 68 fastback i just picked up. I hope to see more vids of your car.

  • going to be a killer car.

  • This car will be a hot runner and a good looking machine when finished. UNO214 tell all the haters to go somewhere. I wish you well and in 1969 I was 17 years old.

I want to see this finished!

    John

  • Obviously "ricecarkiller" doesn't know shit about mustangs or cars in general. Why does it have to be fast back this video is his and not yours this isnt a dam shout out. Learn shit before you speak it RiceCarKiller

    thank you good bye.

  • nice car man keep at her

  • should have had primus in the background

  • u get a chevy, itll fire at first start, but ford kicks just as much ass. nice wheels man

  • Engine looks good and sounds even better! I can't wait to see the finished product! keep up the great work on that classic!

  • @uno214 that ricecarkiller is a fucking douche. he obviously doesnt see the car for what it actually is and probably just wants a fast back to fit in because he has such an insecure life. people have different tatses mate, so dont force yours on others.

  • Im not a huge fan of fastbacks really ha so we all have our own opinion and everything under the "hood" lookes beautiful nice job on that rebuild, i wanna see a finalized product as well man

  • ricecarkiller is a fag. its nt always "what will bring in the most money" if your a car enthusiast, love cars n working on them, its not abut money, but the fun, the joy and doing what yu love..

  • what a waste of money on that!!! should of put the money in a fastback

  • @ricecarkiller everybody down here has a fastback so I like to be different we all got different taste man. You can waste your money on your burned out car that everyone has.

  • sorry a fast back will all ways bring in more money then yours will any day of the week!!! and it looks a hell of a lot better then yours, I under stand about being different , but thats that ,its my two cents, so as they say it is what it is,good luck have fun and finish it not selling it not finish because u lost interest in it!! ,but fast backs sill rule and yours will not!!!

  • @ricecarkiller I really dont care how much money your car will bring in, I will never sell my car so I dont care how much it will bring in. I am fixing it up for the love of the car not for how much money I will get for it so have a good one, and dont be like the rest man.

  • nor will i sell mine,as i have had mine longer then I bet... I will die before I see it go!! but all the same I go by looks of a car as your style of a car just loses it half way back!! sorry but it the truth

  • @uno214 I agree nice car man, working on two 68's right now one with the 289, and other a built 302.

  • @ricecarkiller

    ----------------------------------

Obviously you know nothing of mustangs. I own a rare big block grande coupe that will fetch a healthy sum of money once completed. There are only 33 like it.

Q Code, S Code and R code coupes are extremely rare and valuable.

Plane jane F and H coded coupes are a good platform for restomodding and having fun with....

  • @Spadadiforza

sorry but this guys car is not one of the 33 rare ones

but still all in all the '69/70 fastback still will pull more then a 69/70 coupe will

s ,r, q and so on this what it is,and his is not one

  • @ricecarkiller I own a 1970 Grande and only a few were made, Boss 302's and the Mach 1 were made in mass quantities thus making the luxury model more desirable. Who are you to say there is no resale value to this Mustang a Geo Prizm has no resale value not a 41 year old car. Fastback or not it's his car not yours. Go complain to someone who cares about your pathetic comments.

  • @ricecarkiller wow relly who FUCKIN cares on if its a fast back or not like fuck its a mustang ..... good props to uno214 i got a resto in progress 1987 grand marquuies got my 302 puushing 325 hp at the rear wheels

  • @uno214 please dont take any notice of ricecarkiller he does not understand the passion for theses mustangs but i will tell you now it sounds like you have done a great job on the engine it sounds great and the bodywork is coming along nicely it would be great to see it when its done all the best

  • @wildhog32 thanks man ill post up a new video as soon as I get more things done.

  • @uno214 I agree with wildhog32, it doesnt matter what mustang it is, i love mustangs and id actually love to do what you have done to your car, it sounds great and should look amazing when finished! hurry and post a video of what the end result looks like! :D

  • @uno214 Good job dood! Tell the haters like ricecarkiller to hug your ballbag!

  • @uno214 hey dood, it's your damn money. you can use it however the fugg you want. don't liste to them h8trs!

  • wow great sound, how much did the engine cost?

  • @SBCriss Well its the original engine, I just had it rebuilt. They bored it and I supplied the carb and intake and all the extra parts, they put it all back together installed all new suspension all the way around and installed front disk brakes for about 3,000$.

  • @uno214 ok thx for your reply :)

  • damn that sound really good

  • love the engine sound i love the what the F%^% thing you put up there XD

  • i love seeing this video, cant wait to get mine done too. i got some updates of my 69 coupe on youtube, if you want to check them out. My motor is no where near as nice as yours, just some junk yard 302 that i pulled from a cougar. anyway good luck with the rest of your project.

  • THAT IS NOT A RESTORATIONF INISH HAHA, it just drives.

  • @Gibson299

thats why it says " restoration engine finished " read the whole thing nextime.

  • fuk this crap!! all bout chevy!

  • man mustangs sukk balls!!! this syts luks like a piece of crap!!! anybody hu has a mustang is a lil fag!!! any chevy will take a gay ass mustang out without a doubt!! locd out!

  • @MrLoc818 \dude chevy is a tool...Mustang will Fucking Rock Chevy any day!!

  • wat mufflers do u have on this and wat did they cost?

  • They are made by Flowmaster and are called Super 44's. Not sure on the cost I cant remember.

  • @XAXBFan super 44's usually cost about $80 per muffler, you can get them from just about any where and they sound sweet, i have them on all of my mustangs.

  • Hey what up cousin. It's your primo Gary. Hey man hope that project is going good. I'm about to finish my 70 Mach 1. I guess we think a like I also put a Pete Jackson gear drive in my motor too and can't wait to have it all done. It's out the body shop and Leo is helping me put the engine and tranny back. I just got my interior back too so I should be rolling in the next few months if everything goes good. Hit me up sometime we need to kick it.

  • I have a 1969 mustang 302 boss coupe do you know how rare and expensive these are for just the bodies? your doing a good thing restoring this car I need to restore mine my self

  • wow dude tune that motor on a dyno what a fucking beast thow haha i think its great

  • I LOVE THE WAY THAT CAM SOUNDS

  • i like the 390 over the 302. but both are strong engines

  • Thats funny....first thing you finish is the engine :-)

    Resto-greetz from Germany!

    Dan

  • 1:21 FUNNY!

  • That engine sounds strong! You should repaint the car the original Indian Fire Metallic, but install a White Deluxe interior, that contrast would look awesome

  • I love the gear drive. I plan on running one with my rebuild. Im wondering if the 750 & torker manifold will be too much for a mostly stock 302....

600 CFM is a good size carb for a mild 302 so 750 seems like over kill.

  • god i love a jackson drive......

  • you got a long way to go luckely im restoring my uncles soon to be mine 1976 cobra 2 mustang really all it needs is a paint job and a little tinkering

  • i hear 302's don't really give you any problems.. this true?

i have a ford galaxie with a 289, by the way..

  • Well havent driven it much, but it seems ok for now, my brother in law has a 1968 Cougar with a 302 and it runs great minor issues with electrical but runs great.

  • wow i didn't know cougar's had 302's???

have you finished your car yet.

  • Still sanding away all the old paint on the little pieces like headlights cowl inside the fenders a lot of detail work but still coming along car still looks the same hopefully in a few months well see some progress. thanks

  • purely awsome.. keep it up.

  • 302's are supposedly the toughest engines ever made.

  • i wouldn't doubt it... my dads mustang's been sitting at his shop for about 7 years.. and he decided to start it up 2 weeks ago because there wasn't any work and all we needed to do is clean out the fuel filter, stick a charged up battery, give it some gas.. and get some air from the compressor through the gas line.... that sucker nearly made my ears bleed when it started..

  • I have a 66' mustang with the l6(but I would like to do a swap)what would be the best V8 to put in there?

  • well the 302 has some pretty good power sounds good its more common in a 66 mustang, but if your looking for major power I dont know if it will fit but the 351 Cleveland is a beast I wish I could have had that motor let me know what happens. Abel

  • I was really interested in the 302,so thats what I'd probably go with,thanks...

  • how much in total?

  • too much to remember already.

  • or the cobra 391

  • hows the car coming along so far now?

  • Its moving too slow I wish I had more time but weekends seems to be the only time. We have been working hard sanding the other pieces there is a lot of details to wrap up before we start putting it back together its overwhelming. thanks

  • I'm 16 and i got a 69 mustang that i bought for 2650 with NO rust.... it hasnt ran for 23 years (since '86) and its now running and turns on the first try. Mines stock though :'(

But still i got a awesome first car :D

  • Sounds awesome post a video when you get a chance.

  • typical ford.... won't start the first 16 times.

  • Nice...Flowmasters. Check out my 70 GTO with Flowmasters. Gotta love that rumble!

  • do you have a big cam in it?

  • No its actually pretty close to stock. what kinda cam does it sound like?

  • nope i have plain old rubber POS hoses... but i saw a sleeve dress up set on summit that looks alot like what you got and i was wonderin if thats what they are...

  • fake steel braided hoses? summit right?

  • I guess they are kinda the same but I bought mine at Kragen the are spectre. they have a website.

  • They look bad ass!!! i have a 75 nova, its in shit wad shape but the engine is solid and with a bit of work its gonna be one hell of a car... im lookin into getting a pair of the electric exhaust cutoffs you should check em out they would be amazing on your mustang if you wanna be quiet when you need to and loud as hell when your showing off that classic 350...

  • 10/10 mate, i know myself how much prep and hard work you've done just to get it to that stage! It looks good, keep it up, you're saving another classic! Keep her original as possible!

  • Hell yea that looks like what Garret needs to finish his 69 off with. The car has come a little farther along it's all in one piece with headliner and windows back in and some color in the door jambs etc. waiting on him to get me some parts, but it won't be long look for an update with a completed car.

  • keep it up. thats gonna be a sweet ass ride when ur done

  • thanks man I know this things is gonna be a beast terrorizing the neighborhoods down here in cali, thanks for the possitive feedback.

  • Really nice job- the engine- everything. I can tell how much prep work went into the car (especially the a-pillar area before the primer... you saved another one. Good job. The hard part is done!

  • thanks for the possitive comment ive done so much work for this and worked many hours to pay for all these little parts on the car already its good to hear possitive feedback thanks.

  • You gotta classic there - sounds good

  • Hey man nice start and sounds alright not quite my taste but im anxious to see it when its done.... Nice valve covers too!

  • looks and sounds like a beast now, imagine when its finished

  • thanks man I know theres a lot of details to be done before we put it back together and send it off to paint. thanks for the comment. Abel

  • whats making the turbine sound? Sounds Awsome!

  • thats the pete jackson gear drive making that sound. I got one on my chevy, GOTTA LOVE IT!!!

  • I hate that sound. That just ain't what a muscle car is supposed to sound like.

  • This isnt your typical muscle car I didnt wanna build it to be just like the others. I dont know if thats how you do things but I like my shit different.

  • Sounds good!

  • thanks man much louder in real life i love it.
