Juni should not have rushed tech! Why not get lurkers to hold off the terran a bit before you morph a greater spire, a Queens nest, a hive, an ultra den, and a defiler mound?

No offense to the commentators... But why do you guys always criticize the players like they are the most horrible players? They're progamers, and with "all due respect", they would own you in a 1v1.

I believe it was a failed rush (although not completely all in) and Juni was ahead after that encounter.

I'm not sure why you guys thought Hwasin's bunker rush was so bad - he had many drones not mining for a long time and killed 3 drones, IIRC. I would say that put them about even, not Hwasin behind as you guys seemed to think.
Because he lost an SCV and almost all of his marines due to not microing them before they got to the bunker, and then made the error of not even putting the bunker in range of the hatchery, and then didn't repair the bunker when it got attacked. It was just sloppy all around.
nonetheless he still managed to pull off a decent bunker rush against an overpool(not a 12 hatch)...
and you're underestimating the low power of Zerg's early game economy, remember that each building requires a drone, so a loss of even a single drone early is very hazardous for the Zerg, and Juni lost 3 with 4 more not mining for a while... Hwasin lost a single SCV, the minerals it took to build a bunker and a few marines, a ver good trade...

It wasn't a bunker rush so much as a fake, and Juni fell for it hook, line and sinker - he pulled 6 drones, lost three of them and also built a ton of lings that served no purpose in the game. Hwasin lost only 300 minerals worth of stuff and didn't lose mining time, so he came out at least even if not ahead. Throw in the rubbish muta harass + good attack timing and you can see why Hwasin won.

yep, I see that now. However Hwasin didn't go all-in with it (as in a proper bunker rush) which actually means he had more workers mining (see 4:52 when Juni only has 4 drones on minerals).
Poor bunker placement notwithstanding, you can see how this was a good move - good vs 12 hatch and, as we see in this case, causes delays to a 9pool as well (due to having to pull drones/build lings). Though I can't help thinking that if Juni had 12pooled, Hwasin would have been screwed.
And that's why you need lurkers after your muta harass.
