it looks like you're healing one person the whole time. how do you switch to heal another person using healbot? how did you set up the stuff to click to cast the spells?

@MatxoMan You see those bars of health in the bottom right corner of his screen? Basically all you do is click on those with different mouse buttons and key combinations. Left click could cast one spell, middle could do another and right could perform yet another function. You can also do things like ctrl+left click, alt+right click, etc. It's pretty simple once you get the hang of it.

oh bless ur such an idiot, playing games with add ons to me is the same as using cheats i didnt realise u needed so much HELP to play a simple game.....and no i dont like or have ever done a raid cause it sucks and i hate the idea of dungeons too, i was purely a pvp player (or was until i quit last year)

Add-ons are not cheats, Blizzard would not allow them if they were...you obviously don't understand them in any way...and tbh i doubt you ever did more than a BG as your "Pure PvP" and even when you did step into arenas you prolly failed then too...tbh i don't count BGs as any more then practice

difference between BGs and dungeons/raids is this..BGs/arena isnt routine u cant predict what a players going to do, who ur gonna see in there, u cant always have someone with u like a healer or help cause most times ur outnumbered or on ur own.

Dungeons and raids are routine kill the same mobs, skip bosses and u can always tell what attack is coming and when.

i wont lie yes i have done high end HC's but thats only to get the furious gear set otherwise id happily grind BG's for it.

Too bad Blizzard mostly focuses on making PvE content more exciting. Heck, all you hear from the PvP content is how things are imbalanced, mandatory, overpowered and other such whining. Even if battles are scripted in PvE content, encounters tend to be more exciting than a duel, which usually lasts not longer than 2 minutes.

Actually, DBM is not must-have. Blizzard's frames do just the trick, generally speaking. Aside from that, there's BigWigs, Deus Vox Encounters and Boss Encounters, so no, DBM is NOT "must-have". Aside from that, addons aren't mandatory. Only scrubs who need addons to actually do an encounter abide by addons. Don't be a douche.

actually clique+grid and healbot are essentially the same thing. Only real difference is healbot has the clique mechanics built into it. Just cos it's got Bot in it's name doesn't mean it's a bot lol

Eh, you do realize that healbot and grid/clique does exact the same thing? Click-healing!

You can configure it to only use 2 healing spells if you want to, just as you can with clique.

yes it does. you just type the name of the spell on the mouse binding u want it on and u are set. i use it and also change the bars (Skins) to VIVID bars) it is soooo much better.

Keep in mind, this was done back in August of 2008. The game and the addons have changed since then. I actually use bartender 4 now.

This video showed me nothing. It was just blurry enough that the tiny text was unreadable, and there was no voice commentary to explain anything. The interface was totally customized and could not be interpreted (unless you already happen to have all those addons and know them).

actually spamming chain heal is the gayest way a shaman can heal, sure its their pride and joy , but when it comes down to a very difficult situation, all you'll be able to use is chain heal and nothing else because of not learning how to use your other spells

Healing is far more harder than dpsing... at least at holy priest, you really need to think and plan what spells you will use. However I think tanking is the hardest, thats why there is so lack of decent tanks.

instead of SELECTING your target first and THEN pressing the heal, healbot allows you to JUST click once.

It is superior in this regard. Bindings are slow and difficult

one of the main things with healbot is you dont have to click around from person to person, you can keep your target as boss or whoever, and just keep clicking away on your group members, i think this is an amazing idea and it can help anyone.

xperlz has a setting that fades out players not in range.

I use xperl but I don't like the raid grid on it. I'm trying healbot and it does make the heal-able targets much more opaque. The only thing I don't really like about healbot (over click and heal) is you feel more "out of combat" in BGs. Like you're watching bars rather than fights.

You can set Healbot to "Alterac Valley" in the skins tab. This will only show you the names of people near by who need heals.
