@5omething Not a hoax. I build cannons very similar to this, granted they are MUCH smaller, but they are still real, and are incredibly powerful, and can EASILY kill someone. Right now, I am in the process of building a golf ball cannon that will launch golf balls at about 980 feet per second, with a range of about 850 yards, and it will have about 1500 foot pounds of energy. Once again, not a hoax.

When we hike we measure everything in KM and driving is mph cos it's just silly using KM for a vehicle

@Iwantamansonguitar There was an attempt made in the 70s-80s, and our liquids are still measured in it (though very often we'll still have the standard oz. wrote on bottles of soda, everyone in this country knows what a 2 liter bottle of Coke/Pepsi/whatever looks like (and on the other hand there are still a large percentage in this country that wouldn't even know that liters are metric...)), though virtually nobody here put the "effort" into learning the superior system. I know, we're sad. =/
