because I did not understand you very well but If I do understand corectly then you must check what colour does your Oblivion cd have.

If its black its the year adition if its sort of brownish its not.

To get into the Shivering Isles u must buy the special Oblivion edition and install into the hardrive, once u've done that u shouldn't hav any problems :P
