ok guys let me make this clear:

as of now ERM is single player only. no MP.

but v1.8 WILL have a MP server. where it will be hosted from we dont know yet.

but you can still play with friends with v1.7.

if you download Hamachi, you can use it to get a friends server ip, so you can play LAN with him.

THis mod is aight, DLd it but didnt like it so much lol, most the guns sounded dorky, stuff was entirly to weak and the fact that the Ganz and sniper can hurt armor is kinda dorky......its like...Alright soldiers, on 3 we'll pop up and gun this walker down. "Yes SiR!!...Alright, 1, 2 ,3, !!!

1) the gun sounds were made to be more realistic than the ones in vanilla BF2142.

2) in real life, heavy guns like the ganz would penetrate armor but idk about the sniper. personally ive never seen it.

This won't effect your origanal copy of 2142. You can play on both ERM servers and 2142 servers. ERM will not affect 2142. You acess the mod through 2142 so it does not affect 2142. You acess the mod through 2142. If you download this mod you can play 2142 servers. And even if your logic is true u cant play ERM servers only since there are no servers in ERM 1.7, only ERM 1.8.

you cant play with erm on normal servers that would not be fair

Yes that is true, but H2CHAMPKJ12 was wondering if this will effect him playing on other servers. I think he means, will it like screw up his origanal copy of 2142. Wich this mod won't do.

yes. all you have to do to play this mod is either douwnlaod "modjive" to access it or go to community>custom games>ERM when you start the normal BF2142

well, if you download the latest version it should have an installer which will do it for you. follow the link in the info section of this video to get it.

ah. so the only way you can play w/ all the new features and such is if you go to multiplayer>local>create, then choose "co-op"

that show you do it.

all the footage in this video was taken in the co-op mode.

otherwise, you will have to find someone with the mod and get his ip adress, then join his game.
