I find that a little heavy-handed. Disabling comments can be a repression of debate and dissent. I'd rather promote the banning firsts-posters, trolls, and perhaps the newly registered.

I agree that the proponents of protection should be proliferated and better yet advanced on the internet to further the authentication and security procedures
