Salina Kansas most famous landmarks

My Dutch mom came from as small town herself, Baarn. Her first taste of America at 24 was going to Schilling AFB in '57. I imagine she saw a few of these buildings. But all in all, she is thinking WTF? I remember her saying how yogurt was impossible to find. I have vague memories of that period although a ton of b/w fotos.

Salina is such a great city. To bad the city council is sending the town to hell in a hand basket. Man has Salina gone to the crapper in the last 10-15 years!

true that. i love going back to salina. but now all you see when you enter the town is a very dim mcdonalds sign. so many fun memories in a fun town. who said kansas wasnt cool?
