Everybody please don't DVR or try to watch online as long as you can watch TVD live. Since American Idol came on, the ratings have been decreasing. Before, TVD maintained a steady 3.6-3.7 rating. This past Thursday, which was one of the best episodes in my opinion, the ratings hit lows with a 2.7 million. Please keep watching live as long as it's possible for you. We really need to make the ratings go up for the finale.

Everyone makes a choice, for better or for worse. Matt makes a choice, Damon makes a choice, Elena makes a choice, Stefan makes a choice, Tyler makes achoice, Katherine makes a choice, Liz makes a choice, Bonnie has already made hers

They will have to pay for all the choices they did or will do though.

However one certain choice leads to very tragic things and changes the entire tone of the show for next season.

Elena is annoying, but Stephan is more annoying. His love for Elena is needy, almost toxic. His character is also pretty bland, it got a little interesting when he got on human blood but that's where it stops. He's the guy that's there for you, but never challenges you.

Ian nails Damon's role, there were so many scenes where he steals the show when he does a monologue with a victim. Yeah, he's reckless and goes on killing sprees. But that's why love is often compared with war.

stefan can never be as man as damon. His reactions are so weird and not like man. he thinks to straight. A man that loves, loses also control because love is something that you can't control! I don't know it in the books but in the series it would be really logical if elena would finally admit that she also loves damon. I mean she says the opposite but still, everyone can see...

I'm not against stefan and neither do I hate him, it's just my opinion. Damon shows in every move he makes his love

@HQNEY Honey..I totally agree....i mean Damon and Elena bring out something special in each other when they are together..Damon brings out Elena's fun/wild and crazy side like when they were in Atlanta...something that is rarely ever seen with her and Stefan and Elena brings out Damon's human side...the one thing he misses more than anything else in the world..They complete each other...they make each other better people...I don't hate Stefan..i just prefer and would rather DAMON AND ELENA!!!

In the preview for next week, it seems as if the writers etc. are trying to portray a bad ass Stefan but i don't think that suits him...he should leave SEXY AND BAD ASS for Damon..lol... :) I do think that Damon will do something crazy that will make things go out of control for the next few episodes and season 3 but then again..That's what makes him DAMON and that's why we LOVE HIM!!!! He loves Elena and he will do anything to protect her...DELENA!!!

@69allibaby HELL YEAH DELENA 4LIFE!And yes the writers are trying to spice up the show by making Stefan more of a bad ass vamp and make him darker,there are moments when i just want to see Stefan dead but it makes sense for him to be jealous of Damon's relationship with Elena.But the fact to the matter is Damon is ALWAYS the one who menages to keep Elena safe and is willing to get his hands dirty,something Stefan isn't!IAnd Damon will do something crazy,but Stefan will do something much worse!

@MrDarkkamui For me, Stefan is somewhat of a hypocrite...he had help to change with Lexi but Damon didn't have anyone..People always seem to forget that Stefan was the bad brother at one point and Damon was the good brother..I don't hate Stefan, i just wish that Damon could get the girl for once..It's like for Stefan, he got everything he wanted..his father's love, Katherine and now Elena...even though time & time again..Damon is the one risking his trust, life & heart for Elena!! Thats what the extras who were on the set are saying. They have posting that whole "kiss scene" on twitter, however not everything they said is correct or accurate.

Apart from there being quite unique scene between Damon and Elena with him collapsing and the setting, they did not see anything more. And even then they were placed way too far to actually see what exactly happens.

What actually happens is far more...unique, shocking, endearing and...different from the rest of show

A lot of characters, including the main three will make a lot of questionable choices and will have to pay for them, but the choice the clip hints at is what starts it all. That one certain choice will lead to a lot of tragic things and changes :)

Important character makes a choice and pays for it heavily.

Elena might not like the details of Elijah's "surviving the ritual" deal.

Damon is alive in season 3.

Something bad happens to every surviving character.

A lot of things change for every surviving character too. Relationships, personalities, world-views, personal values, etc.

Stefan will pay for his decisions. Everyone will for theirs.

Elena won't come out the same from the tragedy that awaits.
