  • this is weird i suspect this is propaganda

  • Why is that?

When Iraq attacked Kuwait, they released the prisoners too as the Guards had to flee the attack.

In south Ossetia,Not only were the Guards a target but the Prison was shelled.

In my opinion,It would have been inhuman to leave the prisoners locked up while the guards retreated.

  • i agree with you.but russians in my opinion are anything but rational especially those linked to KBG FSB.

  • Well since the Guards were not Russian, and had nothibg to do with Russia,I cant see where FSB comes in.

    Its about South Ossetians.

  • u must be either joking,or are so naive or are fsb urself.for instance SO president is FSB,and SO residents are russian citizens among other things....

  • LOL do you hear yourself. Am I FSB?.

Do you think the Russians do not have better thinks to do then sit on youtube with you.

You sound like you check under your bed for agents:)

South Ossetians have a nationality of their own, however 90% claimed the Russian nationality as well.

Following the collapse of the USSR,all former nationals of the USSR still have right to change their Soviet passport for a Russian one and 90% took the chance, like 1 million Georgians did.

  • i m not as u described me.one is certain though:Kokoity is fsb.now those georgians who are russian passport holders are residents of russia not georgia.i met some georgians from russia who are actually in jail for not bribing enough corrupt russian authorities in order to obtain golden russian passport".on the other hand i met uzbek who paid as nearly as 8000$ within period of 10 years who is free citizen of Russia in Russia.

  • he complains however that for this money he could buy nice piece of property instead of glorious russian passport that keeps him free of immigration detention.dont u find it quite ironic that non russian residents of russia have such a tough time legalizing themselves after the end of USSR while Ossetians who arent even part of russia actually get forced and encouraged by various means to get russian passport tomorrow??

  • I personally been to Russia many times and found the people very friendly.I did not feel for once that I was been watched by FSB or anyone.Nor did anyone demand bribes off me.So I cant say anything on that matter.

But if you have 1 million georgians trying to get a Russian passport rather then head to Georgia were they are "free".Then that speaks for itself.

  • people stay there for various reasons:family, job,Moscow and so on.I know russia better then you, trust me.u really need to look deeper in to this issue.

  • Believe me,I Know Russia way better then you by far.Not only Russia but most of eastern Europe.

I am fluent not only in Russian, but also in Bulgarian. My knowledge of the most northern and most southern Slavic languages allows me to understand to some degree all the other Slavic languages.Had been travelling to eastern Europe from the time of my student days. Now due to my business I spend at least a total of 4-6 months in those parts mostly Russia a year.

  • you are wrong but i m not gonna waste time convincing you.i bet i have more experience of russia then you

  • Unless you are a Russian, living in Russia, and Russian is your mother language I cant see how you have been exposed to modern Russia more then I have.

So you will not be in a position to convince me of anything.

  • most of prisoners returned. that's surprising.

  • Why are they going to run to? Georgia? dont think so.

    Russia? they will be traced.

Remain in South Ossetia? Country is too small to vanish in.

Guess returning to prison was the best bet and are likely to be rewarded for that.

  • sound reasonable.
