  • Best guitarist ever! Hands down!

  • I love this movie mostly because of Page's great soundtrack.

  • Page going all Jeff Beck fusion here!

  • Sounds familiar...

Jimmy... Using old zep stuff again.. I knew I heard that beat before, communication breakdown 1975

  • @Matthew9444 i've heard that as early as 1970 communication breakdown at the royal albert hall. but anyway that comes from JPJ playing a beat similar to the isley's brother's "it's your thing"

  • @Matthew9444 FUCK YOUR RIGHT IT IS THAT COMMUNICATION BREAKDOWN RIFF!

  • This music makes me want to go out to some night club, drink a lot of cold Beer and smoke a lot of nasty cigarettes.

  • Mayor McCheese busts a move

  • This song makes me hungry.

  • This sounds a lot like Gimme My Thang by James Brown.

  • @yserrant you mean"its your thing" which zep used to stick in the middle of communication breakdown, and I love it- but its another instance of Page' s propensity for plagerism. I love all of this one, "who's to blame" and "City sirens"

Prelude also- there is a live concert where Steve Winwood sings those two songs, and his voice is 1000 percent more suited to it than Chris Farlowe's, IMHO

  • @TheEDZEPPELINBAND Yeah, the London ARMS concert. A charity event for Multiple Sclerosis, put together by Ronnie Lane.

  • Hello ..you were in death wish 2 wow jimmy page is like my hero, nice

  • Not only is Jimmy Page great but this is a great movie! Love the Death Wish movies.

  • @LedWilde alot of people don't realize that not only did Page provide the soundtrack , he also scored the film and it really is some of his best work in my opinion. The creepy bow and the droning riffs and synht he is playing on that just work perectly for the mood of that film

  • It's funy because, when I listen to this, I can sort of imagine a giant hamburger man killing it on the dance floor.

  • @ludwigvan17 haha just died laughing.. oh man,,,,

  • great drummer

  • Even better then his best riff with Zeppelin!

  • hey if anyones interested, he used to jam this in the 70s live in communication breakdown. for best quality video of this jam its here /watch?v=TrSWNvHD1R8

right around 2:35 on that video. He used to do it live, and he actually got the base line from

"It's your Thing" by the Isley Brothers.

    Page is a genious

  • @livezeppelin FINALLY SOMEONE RECOGNIZES THIS!! way to go.

  • i wanna walk down the street with a stereo on my shoulder with this song playing

  • mmmmmmmm ...jam sandwiches

  • take two pieces of bread and jam them together. hahahha

  • @zed0469 That was dumb.....

  • I met Jimmy Page when he was doing the soundtrack for Death Wish 2, at the Beverly Hills Hotel with Michael Winner. I played Carol Kersey, Charlie's daughter in Death Wish 2. I hope that you will visit with me at Chiller Theatre where I am a Guest of the Chiller Theatre 2009.

    October 30 through November 1.

  • @robinsherwoodactress no you didn't .

  • @robinsherwoodactress so cool that you would post here- with all the regular folks-great job, great movie- was Charles Bronson as cool as he seemed?we need more like him-

  • @robinsherwoodactress Hello, I am Jimmy Page...lol

  • @myklj999

    lmao

  • Simply AMAZING

  • look at him! so what it look like! let's do it!!!!

  • anyone got a video of when it gives that repeated haunting sound of a strummed guitar?

  • I remember when i was 19, i wrote lyrics to this, but I can't recall.. I think it was on the lines of.. (from the first beat) "Getting hungry.. think I'll make a jam sandwitch"

  • lol nice maybe you should try to finish it.

  • page is a legend!!!!!!!!

  • I LOVE THIS JAM !!!!

Makes me wanna go out looking for muggers..lol

thanks for posting this *thumbs up*

  • Thanks for posting this. I have been looking for this for years. Wished I had written it!!!!! Thanks again.

  • page brings the funk. great soundtrack. probably way better than the movie.

  • nah, dude this movie rules

  • Page is beyond great. We all agree. This movie rules too.

  • I agree with you nacho, although I think Jimmy prides on not using the tremolo arm and rather bending into key, like you say with the B-Bender. What a riff though

  • Some of Pagey's best work IMHO.

His B-Bender work here is paralleling Beck's ultimate dominion of the tremolo arm.

    Same era for both.

I sure wish things had turned out differently Jimmy....

  • 5 stars and then some ...

  • Yeah...it's Page alright. He wrote the whole soundtrack. Look at the top of the album! Old news!

  • really? thats jimmy page? I dont believe that. Cool song tbough.
