  • it just turned 12:00!!! HAPPY NEW YEARS FROM NEW YORK!!!!

  • Beautifully done. Thank you.

  • Pearl Harbor is today and I just happened to watch this cvideo and remember that! AMAZING video :) Thanks for sharing!!!

  • Immediate tears to my eyes.

  • Well done, Auld lang Syne is always a memorable song on New Year's and world events over the years are an excellent way to accompany the song. However I being a baesball fan, I really missed seeing the video of "The Shot Heard Round the World", the greatest moment in baseball history.

  • This chokes me up every time I hear it.

  • worverine, That is as a direct result of being so tormented & tortured that I could not speak. Only someone who understood what extreme mental anguish, over an eleven year period does to you would understand. That's how wars start.

  • The less said, the better.

  • what is the deal with the Big Bird quote at 6:08 ?

  • very awsome video

  • "I have a dream" was August 28th of '63. And King was killed April of '68. And wrong George Bush picture. :)

    Still great video though

    And awesome picture at 5:43!!!!

  • omg yes i found it!! I love this version!!

  • Oops...made a mistake there myself. You have Jan 20, 1969 for Kennedy. It was his inauguration in January 1961.

  • I actually did not go and find these dates myself, I just enjoyed the song, so i went out and got the information from an external source. But thanks for the info (bit late to do anything) consider it noted.

  • This was very very good, however you got many of the dates wrong and posted pictures of Bush Jr. when Bush Sr. was talking.

For the record, MLK died on 4/4/68. You also have JFK pictured with a date in 1967. He died in 1963.

  • For auld lang syne my dear, for auld lang syne. And we'll take this cup o' kindness yet, for sake of auld lang syne.

Thank you. This is one of my favorite songs, I've sung it down every hallway I've been through, and these quotes bring back memories. The 1900s will not be forgotten, for sake of auld lang syne. (as time goes by)
