instead of killing the dude get the victory rifle and mayby a couple of stealth boys just in case use a stealth boy or hide behind the dude and make sure ur hidden use the victory rifle and shoot the dudes weapon but make sure your hidden because if ur not hidden he might become hostile twards you so any ways shoot the dudes weapon while ur hidden and the dude will fall down while he is down run up to him and you wll be able to look in his inventory i recomend that you save befor you try this

if you got PC, you can use a cheat to get alien blasters and get stimpacks, but there is no cheat for stimpacks:(

once you keep going back to the fort two of the protectors will be alive if you REPEAT THIS method then they will keep coming back from the dead NOTE: kill them first then go somewhere else and come back then kill them again and take all there stuff REPEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!!!

Well, its free because you never buy alien power cells, you find them in places such as U.F.O. crash site, the random event for the firelance, the dlc Broken Steel, and the dlc Mothership Zeta. The ones in the dlc are free because they are such a small part of it that they do not contribute to the price.
