My objective analysis:

Carter was an amazing player on Toronto, however one should not confuse flare with quality of play. Bosh is not nearly as flashy as Carter, but he is way better at driving the lane, even though Carter is famous for his dunks. Carter is very clutch, one of the most clutch players since Reggie Miller. But Bosh has developed a lot since last season and is now better than Carter. Anybody who has regularely watched the Raptors this season must agree that Bosh>Carter.

Carter is good but has wasted his potential. If he actually loved the game and played his best every night he would be on par with Jordan, maybe even better. His athletic potential is better I think. But he's a big baby when it comes down to it and that's why he will never be the best. I remember when he said one of his biggest complaints about Canada was that they don't have very good cable channels... wtf!?

He wasted some of his best years in Toronto, and he got fed up with management because he felt they didn't want to win, simple as that. As a Raptor fan I appreciate what he did for the organization and respect him as a player. He is probably the main reason why I started watching basketball again after Jordan retired the 2nd time, but honestly I cannot respect the man after tanking games on purpose and basically whining his way out of Toronto towards the end.
