  • Again, learned so much from this. Question please. Towards the very end of video, around time of 12:46 on video. You have column 14 highlighted but I am looking below that at column 19. There are over 9,900 global searches. Estimated Avg. CPC is 0. Why shouldn't someone try to rank for this keyword: books dog training? Thanks!

  • @mszeus37 That would be an error on Googles part. Search "books dog training" and you will see plenty of ads. Sometimes this tool will do that. Anything with a $0.00 is pretty much an error these days. This is even more true with a popular subject like dog training. Consider it an anomaly and ignore it. Rather than focusing in just a single term, look at the pricing average of similar terms. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have further question as I am more than happy to help.

  • Really learning a lot from you, many thanks!

  • @martinmilinski1 I am so glad to hear that. If you have any questions I would be more than willing to answer them as best as I can. Keyword research is part art and part science and does confuse may people when they are first learning the process. So please do not hesitate to ask for help!

  • @TerrapinMarketing

You know, I will take you up on that. I would really appreciate learning about the 'bigger picture' when it comes to off-page SEO. I understand the videos and individual tactics just fine, but would you maybe tell us a bit about how you would run plan a whole SEO campaign from square one? I'm working with an online store in the UK, the on-page SEO is done, but I would love to see some type of checklist or fundamental 5-step guide. Again, many thanks!

  • Excellent content, super presentation. Thanks!

  • @MylesMarlow

    Thanks for saying so Myles.

Its a great feeling to help strangers out.

I make these video because I was so fed up with people just selling some cheesey program.

So my goal was to make videos that people really can enjoy and actually use right away.

Too many videos are just long winded commercials of so called marketing gurus.

Them gurus really turn me off.

Sorry for the rant and thanks again for dropping by.

  • One of the best instructional videos that I ever seen on Youtube. Succinct, specific, and incredibly actionable. Thank you!!!

  • @nicolews Wow that is the nicest comment to date. I can't even buy that type of advertising. Many thanks. Feel free to message me if you h ave questions. I also do video requests sometimes.

  • thank you man youre the best :)

  • @cassidy542 Your most welcome! Glad it was useful to you.

  • Very nice. This is very helpful.

  • @nomadceo I am glad you liked it!

Let me know what you want to learn more about!

I am doing to get serious in September and make a whack of new videos!

  • @mauradot Thank you for the comment. Yes the filter blew my mind when I first learned that. Before that I used to do it all manually which can be tough when a client has 10,000 keywords of head splitting work.

  • Very very good!

  • @adboy123

    Thanks for dropping by.

If you have any questions I am always happy to answer them.

    I also make request videos.

Just shoot me a list of questions and I will make you a vid answering them.

  • Brilliant and thank you for taking the time to do this.

  • @ohboyohcaramia Thank you very much. I am glad that I could help.

    Any requests for future videos?

  • @TerrapinMarketing Thanks for asking but I don't even think I have the vocabulary or knowledge to even know what to ask for at this stage. But I'll think on it. Thanks again for investing your time in the video. Good luck to you.

  • @ohboyohcaramia OK well you know I am here. But ..just because you dont know what you dont know is OK.

In fact your the kind of people that I am trying to help. Its the beginner that I am really focusing on.

So dont be shy and if you do have any questions just post them here and I will always answer them as best as I can.

Thanks for the support and have a great day.

  • @TerrapinMarketing

You are a natural at making videos and you really need to make more of these monster informational videos. If I need a voice I will hire you!

  • @freemakemoneyonline

Wow.. thank you very much for the kind words.

It makes my day to hear comments like this.

  • Awesome and very well done video(s)! Please don't stop making vids. These are very helpful and I have learned quite a bit from just the couple you have here. Thanks and I look forward to learning more from you.

  • @jtbengtson Thanks so much for the encouragement. I do this for the pure pleasure of making and helping people like you. As you can see I have no selling agenda so it makes it a lot easier to make videos that people need rather than some silly pitch you see all the time.

I do video requests, so please if you want a video on a topic of your choice do let me know and I just might make it.

Topics I cover include: SEO,PPC, Analytics and Keyword Research.

  • Excellent! Thank you for making the effort.

  • @sbwdservices Your most welcome. Hope that I could help!

  • Hey this was actually really informative, still trying to grasp the keyword concept and how I can use them effectively on my website to make money....so is the CPC the amount of money that I pay for a specific ad (keyword) whenever someone searches or clicks on it from my site?

  • @Tactix87

The CPC is the "estimated" max cost per click to secure #1 in the Google Adwords Network. The charge would only happen if someone was to click on your ad. You are not charged when the ad is just shown. So the idea is to look at your data and see what might be practical to bid on. For example if you have a 1% conversion rate and you pay say $1 per lick a single sale or conversion would cost you $100 at that rate. Conversion Cost = (bid price X clicks to make a sale). Hope that helps

  • @TerrapinMarketing Thank you that did help

  • @TerrapinMarketing

thanks. please dont stop making vids. you sound very smart, informed and educated on the topic (unlike 90% of other posters on youtube). I'm getting into the affiliate game, so this all helps. And, you're a badass. thanks

  • @Tactix87 CPC is the Cost Per Click. So you only only pay for when people are clicking on the ad. The ad being shown is not the cost but rather each click on your ad. Hope that makes sense. Thanks for dropping by.

  • Finally it is wornderful to find intelligent people who are also willing to do/share something to make this world an easier/happier place to live.

    Well done and thank you!

  • @kalyvesoffice

    Thanks for the kind words.

I try to provide free and useful info that people can really use.

Since I am not selling I can just talk about what you need to do and not talk about some silly pitch.

I do this for fun basically... kind of weird I guess... but I just want to get better at presenting ideas.

Thanks for dropping by and the very kind words.

If you leave me a list of detailed questions I will make a video just for you!

    Cheers!

Goto 14:30 to find a subscribe link.

  • What would be really useful for me is an explanation of all these terms and buttons for keywords tool.

Finally, how you can use these options in a combination.

For e.g. you can put one key word alone, or many, or many phrases on 'Put keyword/s here' box. then again you can also use the 'All categories' option as you point out in your video. But you can also use 'Include terms' option. And/or a combination of all the above. How is a mere mortal cope with all this sea of options and information?

  • @kalyvesoffice

In my channel you will see another video called "Google Keyword Tool 2010 - Adwords Research" it details some of your questions.

I will make another video that will answer these questions.

You dont have to use all those options.

The key is to search with 2 or 3 word phrases and save the relevant results.

I am going to make a video about the keyword research process.

The Google keyword video I suggested is just how to use that tool and not keyword research per say.

  • Trully Excellent!!!

    And some feedback..

Just to let you know that when I tried to subscribe to your channel I can not because the drop down menu is behind the You tube screen and does not allow me to open it.
