Being birds though, I would think that they would be messy in a house. They are EXTREMELY smart, but in case one can't release back into the wild, am sure the poster can honestly say they can be a handfull and demand attention. They love attention, are very playful, love to steal shiny objects and these types of injured birds bond with humans, especially if worked with young.
People think I'm crazy...since I feed my local crows. I figure that I feed them, that maybe, they won't hurt someone's crops. Whenever I clean out the fridge, a simple call of "crow" several times, will bring 3-4(which multiplies once they get vocal) and they clean up the stuff I throw out in a hurry. They are smart creatures, and know who I am, though they keep their distance, but allow me to get closer than anyone else in my family.
Euromerc, would that tweed guitar case in the background by chance contain a 50th Anniversary American Series Stratocaster?

@fjohnson747 ~ It does contain my Strat, but not the 50th Anniversary American Series :(

how can you tell them apart?

@MichaelkSimmons - some have only one wing, one foot, part of a leg, etc. Ricky is an imprinted crow, so he doesn't have any handicaps.

If the cat had been black, you may have been able to call that a drive-by.
