If he does a solo album and tour and I get the opportunity, I am there. As I will with the Joe Perry project. Both simply excellent musicians and full of soul and groove. Of course Neither one as solo will replace Aerosmith but that's not the way it's intended. As with all great bands the sum is greater than its parts. But Joe and Steven are so unique and cannot be ignored as artists.

Yeah, 60, and still worried about getting hooked on the pain pills. It is a smart move to go to rehab where you can get the pain relief you need, without getting hooked on the man-made opium in pain pills, He was a heavy user of H so he cannot really use anything with opium like substances in it without a potential problem. Okay, kids, THIS is what drug addiction does. You never get cured, you just manage the symptoms. It can always come back to bite you in the ass.

I saw/read something that said when AS first started out they would be touring and therefore crashing in cheap motels around the country and if they couldn't find H to get their (Steven & Joe) fix they would be so sick and sending roadies out to try to score for them. Also said that sometimes either Steve or Joe would just have enough H for themselves to stay "well" and not enough to share, so the guy without H would sleep outside of the others motel room crying and begging for a fix.
