This song sounds like an ordinary, simple commercial song by Faye... but, like many other songs by her, it's actually a song that is extremely difficult to sing except that Faye sang it so effortlessly so it sounds easy to sing! (if you don't believe me, try singing it at KTV without sounding like you are screeching or straining your voice :D)
Faye decided on the exact amount of work and fame she wanted to put into her career, no record label or producer could force her to tour around different countries. Faye had the ultimate say in how she wanted her career to be. thats why she is special. She is not a sell out just to make money and fame. You should research her more and you will see this is the truth. I say good for her.
I'm not saying she should sell out and tour around the world, I'm saying it's a shame she's not more well known because the rest of the world won't get to experience her. They're missing out on an angel.
You know, i have become mesmerized by the asian music,and the most beautiful women in the world.But i think touring wouldn't work,unless it was limited to asian speaking countries. To me it wouldn't make sense to tour the US and perform in her native language.But i would be on front row.Just my opinion! It's all about melodies.

She stopped singing not because she gave up. She wanted to have a family. Her ex-husband left her because she was too famous, and reporters were watching them all the time. A life without freedom! She married a another man and had a kid, although her kid had severe problems. Nobody can have everything, and you have sacrifice something to get what you really want.
I love her songs, voice and her personality, I wish her happy.
