  • @Jexus -> do you own the nord led or you just tried and programmed it for these videos? just curious :)

  • @synthelabo this guy haves like 50 synths dude!

  • @synthelabo

  • Any chance of you, Olo, uploading the patches? I believe we are a lot of guys wanting them! :D

  • 00:17 she wears panties :(

  • I'm quite impressed by the string sounds i must admit. Very analog sounding

  • Or she? The hands look manley.. They make great gear too! I practiced on that joke..

  • Am i ignorent, or is this the most versatile synth on the planet?

Ofcourse this is one bad as player on the synth, but ok... He's not for sale, is he?

  • @skapoosh: Not exactly the most versatile synth, not at all.

  • @albedoshader

So what is the most versatile synth IYO?

  • @skapoosh: There is no Jack of all trades. (egg-laying wool-milk-sow in German). It depends on what you want to do with it. The AN1x, Z1, Blofeld and some others are great synths that cover broad spectra but e.g. the Z1 isn't a great "analog emulator".

  • @skapoosh The virus TI, its the one synth you would get if you could only have one. (IMHO) Its because the sheer range of sonic possibilities is unmatched.

That said there are synths like the minimoog and the prophet 5 which are very good at getting those specific sounds that they are famous for. Its a choice really go for something more diverse or something more specialised. Thats not to say that moogs aren't competent and that virus' havent got a very strong voice.

  • @skapoosh what's wrong with the player? he plays stuff that I'd actually want to listen to. Better than most other demos out there.

  • @stuizke

    Bad Ass meaning Sick (Awesome!!)

  • @skapoosh you said bad as, so I thought you meant really bad, not bad ass. haha

  • one of my favorite demos from you. Bernise!

  • pure art

  • Was that from Caligula? It's been years since I saw that..

  • epic

  • I would sell my teeth for one of those.

  • Thank you good demo 5*****

  • nord lead rocks my socks

  • those the lead 2x has some sampling capabilities? or all the samples are recorded externally?

  • As far as I know it doesn't have any sampling capabilities. I think someone else asked the question in the first part of this video.

  • Ion and Z1 on background - NICE!

I have Micron and Z1 and they are the greatest!

  • awesome work mate!

    great programming!

  • dope

  • well done. great synth, great video.

  • AAAH BASKET CASE

  • This is the REAL Daft Punk snyth. Seriously.

  • wow.

  • dude youre a bit screwed up haha

  • :) Marchewkowe pole :) 7 :2:8

  • my favs: 5:03 6:03 7:27

  • 1:34 is really good

  • Some people really dont get the basics of things . . . I'd keep the MIDI on there. Sometimes I would be confused because you actually do touch notes and use MIDI sometimes . . . so i think its good to have it up .

  • is there a way to program one of these to play a sequence from internal midi even though it doesn't have a sequencer?

(maybe a dumb question with the comment below this but i swear I've heard somebody say something like this before and obviously almost anything can be hacked if you want to call it that)

  • i think it was a bad idea.

some people may assume the synth has an on-board sequencer. or, if the synth has an on-board sequencer people might not know if your using that or MIDI.

  • these aren't intended to be synth demos. each video's description contains "showing you not what a synthesizer can do, but what a man can do with a synthesizer." IMHO that gives him license to sequence as he pleases. people need to their research before making purchases.

  • Wait? Does this have a sequencer? I didn't think the 2x had one. How is he getting those long sequences without pressing a single key? I mean, it doesn't sound like an arpeggiator. And he usually puts MIDI in the corner if it's being externally sequenced.

  • I love the basket case clips they brought back memories. Another great demo from the synth master. Thanks. 5*****

  • best demo yet I loved everyone of those tunes!

  • niiiiice...next to your sweet synths you use some sick footage..really love that

  • amazing

  • Are you still busting out tracks, Jexus?

  • Wow, are those boobs on youtube?

  • This is wonderful music, 3 thumbs up absolutely awesome.

  • Nice use of the keyboard split.

  • Jexus, have you ever though about applying for a job as a sound programmer? You have so much musical intelligence and hard-earned talent, and you could include a link to these videos in your job application/CV.

  • He may not have the style that modern crap seems to ask for, or at least show it in his vids (which is much better than the crap you hear all over everywhere, of course). Likewise, I second the notion! Even freelance stuff might be neat!

  • @alecjahn i wouldnt mind hirin this guy for sound design

  • (have you ever though about applying for a job as a sound programmer)

I think Spectrasonics would definitely be interested for someone program this kind of stuff for the Omnisphere

  • hahah, sacared the shit out of me at the end :D

  • Super

  • man love ur vidieos keep em up
