  • i did this same thing from punching a door when i was about 12. Now i have a arch on my fist, it was my 5th metacarpal. Never had any pins or anything just a cast for about a month and a half

  • same but i have two boxers fractures on marry finger and pincky had them fo 3 month and a bit i hope thay can still fix it ?

  • I have had 6 pins total taken out. No pain, not weird, took 5 out myself

  • @Chipbullit Okay chuck.

  • @Chipbullit call your hard as fuck you are mate

  • Just had mine done, not looking forward to this :|

  • I have a boxers fracture and I've had it now for couple of years don't ask me why, but I was wondering if it is possible to get my hand fixed after all this time? Any information would be appreciated

  • @Uppercut98 they would have to rebreak it, and if that wouldnt work they would do surgery and break it all up

  • "just going to wack a peice of paper on top of your hand and your good to go!"

  • mine took much more pulling hurt quite a bit

  • wow 8 months later i notice i didnt say how long it took to use my hand normally.. that was like 3-5 months. lots of physical therapy and the fact that my fingers werent perfectly aligned afterwards. Sometimes i still feel mild pains in my hand on top of my middle finger knuckle and i didnt even fracture that one.

  • @n050up4u got malrotation? that ain't good. I'm mainly worried about the looming possibility of arthritis in later life as a consequence.

  • @MrDoriefs From the way it feels, it's possible that those 2 knuckles may develop some kind of problem past middle age, but so far they just make strange popping/crackling noises that are just a bit annoying at times. Only happens if I fully extend and flex them though.

  • @n050up4u hey do you always get pins 4 this or what becuz i fractured mine but im waiting 2 go 2 an ortho 4 a cast

  • @Dillonscballer Depends on the angulation of the injury and the severity. If it's just a fracture then yes, pending on your choice from the options given. I believe in some cases you can even get taken into the OR to have them do "internal work" where the job is more than simple alignment and pins. Took me a bit too long to reply so hopefully whatever happened for you, hopefully worked out well.

  • dayum...how long did it take from when u got the pins put in place to when u were able to use ur hand again normally cuzz i got the same thing going on right now

  • @anklebreaka03 Surgery to removal.. About 3 weeks I think, give or take a few days.

  • @n050up4u i got this done today when wires were taken out of my boxers fracture

  • I had that done too on my right pinkie knuckle, I was crying but it wasnt that bad. (I was 12)
