They said it 1960 Pangaea was first mentioned before that in the earlier 1900's and the man was laughed all the way out of the science circle,, But Now another Theory With way more facts about the Earth's surfaces than this idea were sliding around Bull... Explained Earth Theory shows how it happened, a little kid can under stand S.A. & Africa look like they fit but all the twisting and bending Pangaea is on the way out so enjoy while it last. If you hold on to long u will be like the FLAT PPL
Belief in God doesn't have to be based on blind faith. There are frameworks you can use to prove God's existence to yourself. I simply don't buy the idea that blind chance can somehow create the information necessary for living beings to be formed. I also don't believe blind chance can create laws and rules that govern the universe. Scientists themselves know that the world and the universe follow rules that are fundamentally mathematical in nature. That is proof of God in my view.
@PALESTINerd lastly, religion has been slipping. down a very steep hill due to the external influences fuck*ng with it. Exteremists and groups of morons who know nothing about what the regilion stand for are brainwashing people into believe what they believe. this is the problem we have today. Not to mention the secret societies of the world working against all of us. Doesn't matter who you are, if you're not with them, you don't matter. Watch the full movie : THEY LIVE and Zeitgeist
@striderg3 In my opinion, religion itself is a tool used to get the masses to have uniform beliefs. I believe religion is just a result of culture/agriculture. It's a way of telling the masses an understanding of what's right and wrong. You can see it evident in the beginning of culture, archaeological excavations have revealed that religion evolved along with agriculture. It's because agriculture made living a lot more risky because you were completely dependent on the earth.
@DarthYoungling (to continue) There are similar tales that all correlate with lots of religions, like floods and plagues. These were a lot of things people had to worry about when agriculture began. People became a lot less healthy from the close and constant contact of animals, so they developed diseases. Of course with our minds able to imagine we wanted to think up different ways to justify these things that were happening. Also with food being more scarce and lots more people to feed...
@PALESTINerd Now picture this... the double slit experiment done by numerous physicits suggests that the oberserver changes the way matter and atoms behave when you OBSERVE them. Imagine the implication this has on everything that exists in the universe. There is also a number that was calculated by math wizzards which suggests that for any matter to have existed in the universe. watch bbc horizon - Everything WE know about the universe.
@PALESTINerd the other thing is that we were never here long enough to understand why we are actually here. imagine our brains are only capable of computing using 10% of their capacity. In Einstiens case, more. That man layed in his death bed saying that God had to have existed because he communicated with us using the uniformity of mathmatics. That man understood more than our entire generation could have understood about science. His view was that God has to exist for any of us to exist.
@striderg3 The whole humans can only use 10% of their brains has been proven false. Einstein wasn't an evolutionist to begin with, and he was Jewish. Your argument is that the rest of humans are inferior to Einstein who believed in a god, thus god is real. That's a ridiculous argument due to the fact humans use more than 10% of their brain, and just because Einstein said something doesn't mean it's true.
@PALESTINerd see i agree with most of what you said except for where you can't stand people who believe in those "theories". Like we have the theory of the big bang, right? It's essentially a story of how we think the universe began. How we precieve it is how we believe it. That is the same way religious people feel. Have you seen god, no? Has anyone? Maybe not. But the story about Muhammad (SWT) is one that was meant to instill truth in the minds of our generation. Have you seen the big bang?no
@striderg3 A theory is testable. You can't test god. Things like coincidences are not evidence that can be used to support a theory. Therefore god can't be compared to the big bang because we can actually test the big bang theory. God ca't be tested because it's based on faith.
@DarthYoungling I'll have to disagree. The fact that the universe is expanding does not suggest that we started at some point 14 billion years ago. our one telescope might just be seeing up to the horizon of the rest of the universe. Try to think of the actual universe as a massive massive massive oval or circle or elliptical. We are just looking off one edge and seeing nothing but faint red dots that we think due to red-shift are images of when the universe was young?u have faith in the bigbang
@striderg3 (to continue again part 3) with lots more people to feed there was more competition. It's around this time that you see society and social structures that involve monarchs. Religion at this time is also being used to justify these monarchs who have control over the food as holy individuals so that they can continue to rule and have control over the people. Basically religion is just a social construct. An intro Archaeology class teaches all of this better than I have explained.
@striderg3 There is a hypothesis that the universe will contract one day (it's just a hypothesis from my understanding at this point).
Anyways I was saying that you can't compare god and the big bang as theories. God can't be a theory because you can't test it. There is evidence that supports the big bang, and until there is enough evidence to disprove it it's a theory. If somehow overtime there are absolutely no exceptions to the hypothesis it becomes a law. At this point it's a theory.
@PALESTINerd what you and the world will never understand is that the universe can be defined using math formulas that we made to help us understand better the GRAND DESIGN of everything around us. This is not mere coincident that only science can explain. There is a theory behind all our theories and some of them cannot be proved using science or whatever reasoning best comforts you. There are forces beyond us that are at work. You are just a blind follower of SCIENCE rather than religion.
To me, it'd be quite scary, falling from that height. Not because I'm afraid of heights, but tumbling like that and seeing just space...no. xD Ground control to major Tom!
