  • Great video! Thanks for posting.

  • Very nice!! I had two wet flys tied by Ray along with a very nice letter he sent me in the 50s, lost them in a move somewhere?? I do have some Ray Bergman leaders in nice little glassine envelopes, (somewhere in my pile of stuff)

  • Hopefully you'll find them someday. I'm planning a fly plate video for sometime in the future, so if you find them, maybe you can mount them and they'll be easier to keep up with.

  • Wow.

    You are excellent.

I leanred how to use my whip finish tool and how to marry from watching this.

    Thanks.

    ^^

  • that was a beautiful fly

  • Good description on "marrying". Nice use of thread as well.

  • Very good instruction daddy. I love you very much and keep doing what you do best!

  • Excellent! Notice use of white thread for base and black for head, spare use of thread, spinning the thread counterclockwise, use of pinch to hold material as it's being tied down... this guy is a pro.

If you want to become good at it, too, I recommend the Don Bastian DVD.

  • Don Bastian, yeah right. A little concieted if you ask me.

  • awesome video! thanks!

  • Good instruction...but are you aware you have a rotary vice - therefore there's no need to wrap the tinsel around by hand...just spin the rotary vice.

    Hope this helps :)

  • I noticed this too.

  • sweet
