"When the Holy Spirit reproved me of sin, righteousness and of the judgement to come, He didn't tell me about the 5 points of calvanism or to the theology of Jacobus Arminius..." Refreshing, true.
well He didn't. it wasnt until I was about a year old in the Lord a girl gave me this AWFUL book called Calvanism, Arminianism and the word of God by chuck smith, I picked it up and read it, wrote her back and said. "This is doctrines of men and chuck smith basically doesnt know what he believes" lol, its really a joke to me I think its pride in disquise to be honest (these BIG words)
ok, ??- I was at church and we sang this song, "MAJESTY". The lyrics got me thinking. What do these lyrics mean & what scripture do you have to support your position, if u agree w/ the lyrics? The lyrics are,"Majesty, kingdom authority, flow from His Throne onto His own"
I understand this as saying that His authority flows onto the believer or stated another way, we are recepiants of authority transfered by way of His Throne. We have kingdom authority. I thought only kings have authority.
point 1 - you wanted a question. WHOOPS it appears that I answered it myself. But I would like your interpretation.
point 2 - False teachers are spoken of in your video. If my sources are right, Jack Hayford, the author of MAJESTY" is head of a church that is strong in the "word of faith" movement of which many false teachers are involved in. Is this song sudly teaching a falsehood?
That song seems to promote "Kingdom Now" theology. Therefore I think it is unbiblical to sing it and more over, heeding the teachings of this man is not wise either.
Do you want me to go in on your question deeper in a video?
That's up to you. But it needs to be said that you now not only have to discern the teaching coming from the pulpet but also the message in the song. I can't think of the name of the other song that I have heard in church but the lyrics are. . ."I'm using my authority to act with the authority of God."
It is indeed. Thanks for the nice comment too. I'll be working on a new series first, later on the Bible Q&A might start. In this new series I will read the passage and add some comments and let the Word speak for itself.
The puppets are entertaining. I like the crackling voice part. lol
I'm almost afraid to ask your opinion because I get flack from other Christians about certain things, and I really don't want to debate a Christian. But here goes. I say: the Bible is clear that the suffering of the wicked is not eternal, and that the Bible makes this clear with numerous passages. What say you? By the way, if you dissagree with me, you're wrong. lol
Ok, that's loaded. But do tell me what you believe.
Thanks so much for asking about annihilationism. Is it OK for me to use your question: "Eternal hell or not?" for my first research and Q&A video?
I will look at your videos about it and look at the Scriptures and research and - that will take quite some time for I want to give a well-thought, courteous response - come up with a video going in on what the Scriptures say according to my research.
Well, I guess you could use the word hell, though hell is the grave, not the pit where the wicked go eventually. But why not. I don't share my birth name on the Internet. No offence, it's a security thing.
2 Peter 1:20-21 But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation, (21) for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.
Very good video brother David! Humor has its place. It can be used to convey truth but we need to use wisdom and discernment. God bless you. I am looking forward to this new series.
i got the message brother..i was just kidding you...you did a good job and made a great point that i actually agree with

As if WE have the same authority as God?
No, I don't think so. We aren't little gods!
