for me the best player of the game is RUSSEL AND PARVATY .... they play the best game and they trow there cards very nice ... but the reason why russel dont win coz all the jury cant accept that russel out played them all....
this is the real reason of survivor to learn acceptance to your self...but the jusy cant accept to bad for them...

Russell Hantz could win survivor if the jury members were made up of Vulcans. Reason I say that is Vulcans would vote based on the best player using pure logic. unfortunately, humans are purely emotional creatures and are weak for the most part. They vote emotionally, and the vulcans would vote logically. Thats the flaw in the game, human emotion!!!

No, because that goes against all logic. What's the point in playing a game if the runner up can be a better player than the winner? IMO, Russell fans don't understand how Survivor actually works. Natalie was the best player because she won, just as Russell would have been the best player had he won. The only thing he "dominated" was the screentime.
Russell is my all time faveroute survivor. He just owned the whole game & near everyone in it. Cant wait for S20.. COACH VS EVIL RUSSEL should be fun to watch... =)
I think you can stop saying Russell isn't in S20 since the official cast list is out and he's right in the mix along with all of the other people that were spoiled to be in S20. So we will get to see a repeat of the Russell show (though probably with a bit less Russell) in Feb. when S20 starts up.
yeah he was asked in the reunion if he wanted to return for an allstar season. He said that he would propably do it . But the season 20 allstar season had allready been compleated at that poitn and will air february 11. So there is no way russel is on season 20.
That atleast means that the spoilers that said he would go to the final 3 on S20 are faulty N wrong =))))

I don't blame him for using an advantage, which by the way was easy to find, but it doesn't say much about his skills as a player. If anything, it shows that he's overrated because he has to depend on a handicap to go far.
Do you know something? Result doesn't even matters, it's the process that many people are looking at. Who cares whether Natalie won the million? Many people are actually re-watching Survivor now because of Russell. This is because of the process that Russell went through; results, mostly are dubious and many fans of Survivor see Survivor plainly because of its entertainment - not to plainly see who wins and who doesn't.
Results don't matter? Than why should fans care if Russell wins or not? Or if he does anything or not?
But I can understand why ratings slightly went up last season. When an entire season revolves around one person, it's less convoluted and easier to understand. Recent seasons, hell earlier seasons too, had more sophisticated gameplay which I suppose led to confusion among more casual viewers.
And its the next jury Id be angry at if I were any of you. The big boys. If he tries any funny stuff on those guys, theyre going to skin him alive without a second thought. Theyre not going to be impressed by his steamroller antics, especially if one of them suffers by the hidden idol.
I was so crazy for Russell and still am. I'd really love to see more of him on television. I truly wish him the best of luck, he was the only reason I started watching Survivors and kept up with every episode for the first time. He brought plenty of entertainment and made Survivor: Samoa very interesting to watch.
hey, tell Russ since he did not win he should put up a public donation for all the survivor fans that believe he should have won, and everybody can donate $1 who thought he should be the winner... I know there are enough fans out there to donate $1,000,000 because he should truly be the winner..

Russell Hantz, you've provided some great entertainment in Survivor, but that doesn't warrant you the best player or winner.
A winner is someone who can win over the jury and earn their respect.
The best player would be someone who can get anyone he wants voted off (that's control) and get away with it (ie convince the jury to side with you).
You got some people voted off, but others, you changed your votes at times to follow the majority. That's not control.

I think you can stop saying Russell isn't in S20 since the official cast list is out and he's right in the mix along with all of the other people that were spoiled to be in S20. So we will get to see a repeat of the Russell show (though probably with a bit less Russell) in Feb. when S20 starts up.

yeah he was asked in the reunion if he wanted to return for an allstar season. He said that he would propably do it . But the season 20 allstar season had allready been compleated at that poitn and will air february 11. So there is no way russel is on season 20.
That atleast means that the spoilers that said he would go to the final 3 on S20 are faulty N wrong =))))

Russell was the only reason I watched the show. He was the best survivor player of all time. The strategy's and tactics he used were like none other.

I don't blame him for using an advantage, which by the way was easy to find, but it doesn't say much about his skills as a player. If anything, it shows that he's overrated because he has to depend on a handicap to go far.

Do you know something? Result doesn't even matters, it's the process that many people are looking at. Who cares whether Natalie won the million? Many people are actually re-watching Survivor now because of Russell. This is because of the process that Russell went through; results, mostly are dubious and many fans of Survivor see Survivor plainly because of its entertainment - not to plainly see who wins and who doesn't.

Results don't matter? Than why should fans care if Russell wins or not? Or if he does anything or not?
But I can understand why ratings slightly went up last season. When an entire season revolves around one person, it's less convoluted and easier to understand. Recent seasons, hell earlier seasons too, had more sophisticated gameplay which I suppose led to confusion among more casual viewers.

And its the next jury Id be angry at if I were any of you. The big boys. If he tries any funny stuff on those guys, theyre going to skin him alive without a second thought. Theyre not going to be impressed by his steamroller antics, especially if one of them suffers by the hidden idol.

I was so crazy for Russell and still am. I'd really love to see more of him on television. I truly wish him the best of luck, he was the only reason I started watching Survivors and kept up with every episode for the first time. He brought plenty of entertainment and made Survivor: Samoa very interesting to watch.

So bummed Russell didn't win...my husband and I love him, were rooting for him so hard! Russell played an awesome game; amazing and so fun to watch! Kept us cracking up too! Wish he would have taken Jaison and Mick to the end because those two knuckle-head wastes-of-space would not have gotten a vote between them. Natalie was too likeable in the end and the jury was too bitter. People who love the game love Russell. Russell you da man!

Nattalie did not deserve that. I remember the first episode of Survivor Samoa, I said Russel should win, and he almost did if it wasn't for Eric. Russell is the Sole Survivor. The Heroes Vs. Villians were they bring back players, Russell will be there and he WILL WIN!
