hej, einfach mal eine dumme frage aus Daenemark,wie hast du das mit der vorderachse gemacht? ich habe einen TAE 20 mit einem Scorpio 2,8 i Motor, aber ich musste einen Hilfsrahmen bauen um die Aufnahme zu tragen. hast du eine einfachere loesung?

Cool project but why not retain some class by putting a Ford engine under the hood? I know GM's are cheap, easy to work on, parts interchange, and they are everwhere but come on! Ford engines seem to last longer and a Ford with a Ford engine just sounds better IMO.

@wuuuuuuuuuuuu Yeah and Harry Ferguson worked with Henry Ford and the TE-20 is a copy of Henry Fords N-series tractors so a Ford engine would be more suiting under the hood than a GM boat anchor.

@sokodad Don't make me laugh. In my years I've had hundreds of low-mileage SBC's brought in my shop that were blown from easy daily-drive use. I've only had a few dozen times in my career where I've rebuilt SBF's that were blown in the same manner. I see Ford engines outlast GM boat anchors at a 5:1 ratio. If not for interchangability and low cost of parts, GM would be absolute trash. Yank that GM POS and put in a real engine.

@landon460 Whatever, you can have your opinion, but I've been around both all my life also so don't think your the only one who knows anything. I've seen just as many Fords in and out of the shop as GM and I can give you a list of several mechanics who would attest to the fact that Fords are junk. So yours is merely opinion not fact.

@sokodad I know mechanics that don't like Fords either but most of them are the kind of guys you don't trust with your vehicle. The fool who bashes a Ford is not smart enough to know how to properly work on them. Now that is a fact, not opinion.

@landon460 I do know one thing that is fact and not opinion and that is that your full of shit. I know one of the best mechanics around who can work on just about anything and he prefers Chevy to Ford. His personal preference and I'd trust him with my vehicle any day of the week.
