Yep, Australia. This is 'Sunbury' station, on the north west outer suburbs of Melbourne. The train is on its way to Melbourne, from Bendigo.

caught 1 today from sunbury-to southern cross,5.80 for a 3 hour metpass ticket.best train ive been on for years,airconditioned and 4 across seating,thought i was on a plane,just didnt get a meal,lol

i think the Hunter Valley train cars the Hunter cars cityrail 1st they look better an 2nd they dont cost alot to use !!

i dont understand how just because they are regional they have to charge so much for a ticket though.. even if ur going a short distance in the country the same distance on a surban will cost way less! regional shouldnt cost that much more

the site says its 30 bucks to bendigo.. i think geelong or ballarat is similar.. return or not thats expensive compared to suburban, which can cover some distances.. maybe its their fuel expenses..
