how did u download that? I have a mac os x, but I downloaded Yodm 3d for my school pc, but it doesn't work to download that for mac. How can I download this?

@hermiethehero yodm is for windows, it will not work on os x. u use desktop manager, which works on leopard, but not on snow leopard.

Everything you see in Mac, and Windows. Has already been done in Linux. Half of the features in windows 7 has already been in KDE, same with Mac OSX. All Mac users are too stupid to know what common sense is. All they know how to do is click a shiny button that tells them what to do with their lives.

You are right coverflow is useless I have it on Linux it's pointless. I have cooler stuff on my PC, with (Linux ubuntu with compiz fusion) if you have a PC, and don't know what (Linux ubuntu and compiz fusion) are look it up on youtube.

I need more from a computer than just shinny stuff.

linux works on macs too. i've tried it, it's nice, but it misses the point. on os x coverflow and spaces have usability but in linux is just eye candy. coverflow is great for pictures and previewing documents, cuz i can access all the pages in 1 document, just like quick look. and linux, all it has is compiz fusion, nothing more... it haz no replacement for the apps i'm using. and just to install some apps is just a headache.

Linux ubuntu with compiz fusion on a PC looks better, pus Linux is free...

Linux on a PC has better spaces.. You can get coverflow for Linux and Windows...

Virtual Desktop Manager for free for PC are every where on the web. Yod'm 3D ... Shock4Way3D .... and on and on

compiz fusion can do more in terms of eye candy than os x, but the construction quality doesn't beat os x. in os x every pixel is flawless, but in linux i can see some bugs from time to time. windows is just a disaster, every aspect of the apps that are trying to imitate the dock, spaces, expose etc are a disaster. the desktop manager i'm using is free too, there are cool free apps on mac too, just so u know.

Yes the pixel are flawless, and the fact almost every Mac comes with Glossy Glass screen reflects over head lights... Making the Mac almost unusable for any real job. I'm sure the movie maker under all the lights are going to love that. Final Cut Pro is the only thing keeping Mac alive. I don't want to see my refection when I'm trying to work...

the screen doesn't make the gui flawless, but the developer. apple haz the best screens in the world. their displays have the most appropriate color profile in the world. just put your lg or samsung next to an apple one and you'll see the difference. have u actually read any review of imac? read one and you'll see. and don't take me back to kindergarden, every os can run vmware, in fact apple was the first ones who did that, search mac & windows 95 ad.

IBM was the first to use virtual machines this was before Apple was even born.. virtual machines where first used in 1967... Apple wasn't born until 1976 almost 10 years later. Then after other people used it it vmware was born.

Apple also didn't come up with the graphical user interface they took that idea from Xerox

Itune was also not made by Apple they bought Itunes for another company... and on and on

Plus lets not forget you get more out of your money if you just build what they call a "Hackintosh PC" So I can run Mac OS on my PC.

There is also the RocketDock + StackDocklet for the PC now... My point is no matter how nice the look they are over priced any hardcore geek will tell you that... I have friends that program for big companies they all say the same thing... Mac computers are over priced.

k. the map and letters on the screen (left) is an app called geektool. in the bottom left are some tabs, that is an app called dragthing. at 0:35 i open an app called cologuy, witch is an IRC client. at this time when cologuy connects to servers, in the top right corner appears growl.

i cant find a program for leopard that has the cube animation (desktop manager doesn't work in leopard)

desktop manager 0.5.4r1 works on leopard.

on my leopard with D.Manager 5.4r1 - you cant move windows to other desktops.. and you cant open a safari browser in more than one desktop... hence doesnt work...

can you move apps to other desktops?
